basically this is a vehicle to promote some kind of political agenda. Romero is one of my favorite directors but this goes beyond comprehension and insults horror fans. The original "Dawn Of The Dead" commented on consumerism yet kept the focus on what's important: THE HORROR.
this film feels like Romero had Keith Olbermann and Al Franken co-write the script (now that would be horrifying!). the plot could have been brilliant but was surpassed by "28 Days Later" & "28 Weeks Later." luckily George made "Diary..." and "Land..." will be remembered along side "Return Of The Living Dead" as something laughable & dismissable.
