I was able to create a backup image of my laptop prior to service, but was unable to restore because a bootable disk is required to restore the system disk. I tried creating the bootable USB drive and a bootable CD and neither worked. Both gave a message that the Laplink DiskImage installation was corrupt. I tried the workaround in the Laplink website using an iso image and that too gave a corrupt message and did not work. Unfortunately, the digital copy is non-refundable and non-returnable.
