Unless you are going to pay someone to do it for you, and they probably will use this software anyway, this is the best approach for a DIY move of your PC stuff from your old one to the new one. It also comes with trial versions of duplicate-checking software and Safe-Erase which both come in handy for this process.

Got a new computer and need to mover all your stuff from the old one? Or maybe you do alot of work with big files between devices on a regular basis. This is what you need! Over your network or through their cable link. They move only what you need to be moved.

A little difficult to first setup - but worked well using the transfer cable provided. Transferred all my data and programs. Only needed to provided the product key numbers on a few programs.

I found it to be quick and easy to install and figure out the use of it. Worked very well other than a couple of items it couldn't successfully move but I kind of expected that.

Thought this was going to be hard transferring my files from my old Laptop to my new one. Went perfectly. Would recommend.

This program worked as it was supposed to. I just need to stress that your READ AND FOLLOW all instructions in the order they are given. Save yourself a lot of wasted time and grief by not clicking on their (obvious ads) that try to get you to purchase something else. If you simply follow the directions everything should work fine for you.

After purchase of a new laptop with Windows 10, I wanted some programs to be moved from my old laptop. This option got the job done. I wished that I could have selected the transfered canidates though.

Cords not what i needed but copied all my data and apps flawlessly.

Setting up a new laptop or desktop computer can be frustrating as well as a little daunting ... not with this software. Simply connect your old computer to the new computer (wired or wireless) and hit the the button; easy peazy!

A little tough to use, but works good once you figure it out. Customer help is OK depending who you talk to. Over all a good product.

First, the cost of this item is relatively expensive for software to automate a process you can complete manually with a little knowledge and effort. Second, when you read the instructions you will spend more time reading the disclaimers of why it won't work than what will work. Third, if you are moving from 32 bit Windows to 64 bit don't bother; reinstall your programs manually and copy your files. The program moved many files and folders but didn't move the documents folder and many 32 bit programs were moved that would not run and would not uninstall. I spent more time cleaning up after the program than if I had done the work myself. I purchased this as a trial run before moving other computers and will not purchase other copies.

Bought to move a very large folder from one computer to another. It failed a number of times after a short while, so I had to do this another way. Unsure why, but didn't work for the task I purchased it.

The program worked as described. It was a little slow and had to restart it a couple of times to finish. It did transfer all my files and settings which was what I wanted.

Bought this to do transfer to my new computer. Semi worked. Some programs I had to reload. Seemed to drop key features. I was using Ethernet cable. Don’t know how it would have worked with USB cable.

Instructions were pretty easy to follow. I had some issues with initial connection but it relatively smooth once I connected.

After researching online what software to use to move files from one computer to another, I decided to buy this. It was easy to find and just what I needed. The price was good also. I would recommend this to anyone to transfer files between computers. There aren't many places that sell computer software that you can drive to anymore. It would have taken me hours to transfer without this software.

Complicated but take your time mapping out what you want to do and it works well. Data and program transfer worked well. Erase takes time

The software transferred most everything from old to new computer. One issue that slowed me up was not disabling firewalls on both computers. Looking back, it did instruct me to do this in the instructions, but I'm not used to looking for those settings. Tech support was prompt when I called late on Sunday evening of a long holiday weekend. Microsoft Office (legitimate copy) transferred fine. The computer shop charges $150 to move files between computers, and doesn't move apps. This was a much better deal. I did use the ethernet cable to connect the two computers. I could not get the wifi connection to work.

Confusing at first, but it all worked out well in the end. Not only did all my data files transfer only, but so did all my programs! Took a long time, but I don't recommend doing it overnight at least the first time because you may end up waking up to the process waiting for one final click for something to continue. Just plan to take the day off, the results will make you happy!
