The software makes a total copy of your old drive to the new drive. That means that all of the junk files such as logs and .tmp files moves over to the new-fresh drive. More, if you have installed software along the way with your OLD computer the leftover files are transferred as well. Take the time and carefully select what you want to move over!!

I used this to move apps, files and settings from an old computer to a new computer. It worked ok..... Perhaps I didn't read the features or details well but this doesn't really copy over everything but it does at least give you a report at the end of things that did or didn't copy over. Better than nothing. I probably would still be working at it if I tried to do it manually.

Did work, take advantage of their 800 help line telephone #. Was really a little more work than I thought it would take. Would buy it again.

It had clear instructions and the cable to make it easy. I have actually bought a 2nd one for work.

Great product. There is no better Wayu to move applications and files from one computer to another. Before you transfer application keep copy of your passwords. You can download those from FireFox or Edge plus your application passwords with and application called Belarc that is free

This transfers over about 90% of data correctly and about 75% of settings correctly. Needs improvement

The software worked exactly as advertised. It's needed now to move from XP/Vista to Windows 8.1, because Microsoft removed the Windows Easy Transfer capabilities for those operating systems. The price for it was the same as what I found on the Internet, so I didn't have to wait for it to be shipped..

Item was ready and waiting for pick up. Software did exactly what I needed. Very user friendly. I would recommend

the program moved all of the files, programs, settings, etc from the old PC to the new one without a problem.

This couldn't have been easier to use. The new computer was up and running and with less effort than I could have imagined.

Does move most of the apps, but you still have to have serial numbers to re-activate apps. Couldn't tell if file transfer was processing or stuck in a loop since the time to complete kept getting to 1 hour and then moving back up to 1 hr 10 minutes.

PCmover Ultimate migrates your accounts, files and your Applications to a new PC. It also provides a number of tools to find duplicate files and to clean up your old PC. PCmover Ultimate is more effective than Microsoft Easy Transfer wizard, which will not move applications. The only downside is you must purchase a license for each additional PC that you migrate.

Did what it is suppose to. Easy to load and easy to connect and transfer.

The instructions make the product very easy to use. Using PCMover I was able to get my new computer up and fully operational with a minimum of effort. The thing I dread the most is the moving of the applications, PCMover took ever thing I needed with very little effort. For my next computer, I will use PCMover.

It took a 2nd try, but it did the job. Highly recommend that you update before using it

The program made my migration to another pc, splitting the programs and data onto 2 drives both easier and faster than I would have thought.

I was going to use this product to transfer data and programs to new computer except the time it was going to take was too long. I had almost 500GB of data and it was going to take over 2 days to transfer. Decided to do it the old fashioned way. Product would be great for smaller data transfers.
