This took some figuring out on my end, but once I got it figured out, it was great. I just installed it on my old and new computers, set them beside each other, and followed the instructions. My files were moved to my new computer with no further effort on my part.

This program moved most of my files to a new PC. Figuring out what was not moved was the hard part.

After at least 5 calls to customer support and hours of waiting on hold , we were finally able to transfer all files to new computer. I can't totally say it was the program, one of the techs at customer support found a problem with Norton anti-virus that even after shutting it off it would switch back on thus preventing files from being transferred , knowing that now I would probably buy it again.

Easy software to use Everything worked on the first try. Apps and files transferred without a problem and all the apps worked after transfer,

I had this custom program that is no longer available from the manufacturer. I was able to move the program to another computer using PCMover but the license was no longer valid. So now I have to keep the old computer just for that program.

The product is good for transferring if you have time. 24 hours to be exact. You also need to have internet access for this to work. That information should be on the box. Lastly, the computer you are transferring data from may not get totally moved. You will have to go back and verify what was/was not transferred.

PCMover has evolved over that last 25 years (at least) and has only gotten better. Be careful that you get the box with the right cable that you want/need. As far as I know it still is the only program that moves PROGRAMS and all the associated files as well as data and files of every kind. Highly recommended.

If I could, I would give this piece of junk a half a star. It didn't work at all and it was too late to return it. I followed the instructions just as it said but it didn't work at all. Maybe someone else that purchases it will have better luck than I did.

Did not transfer files properly as in previous versions. Files were moved to the cloud instead of the new PC, had to be manually fixed. Outlook pst files were missing. Some documents did not transfer with the most recent version. Spent over two hours fixing all the problems.

I have used this software for many different transfers of programs from an old laptop and/or PC to a new computer. It is easy to use and transfers most programs seamlessly. Two downsides. First, it is expensive. Second, you can only use it once.

Worked exactly as advertised. I wish I would have purchased a multi-devise license instead of a single one. It moved my files and cleaned my old PC quickly and painlessly.

Failed to move 3 of my programs flawlessly so still can't use them and will have to buy later versions I guess. Overall not too bad but for me it wasn't worth the purchase since I could have just moved stuff via external HD.

Great way to relocate programs and media. You can customize the content you wish to move.

It seems every 2 years I am purchasing a new computer for upgrade of processor speed or disc size. Every time I do I hate to lose the info and data I have stored on my old computer. I have used this program four times and each time it has worked flawlessly to transfer the old data and programs to the new computer. I would use it again.

I have used this product before and have always been pleased with the results. This product not only moves your files but also applications and settings.

I've used LapLink in the past and gave it highest praise. This version could only be used once and it requires a thorough understanding of the instructions. Ended up transferring files and apps, but several apps had to be reinstalled.

Easy to use,did what it wàs supposed to do.a lot more secure than having a shop do it

Very helpful utility, copied hard drive, apps, and settings from an account and even picked up and migrated second drive partition from old PC. Saved hours of hassles!
