I would never move to a new computer without PCMpver. Easy, quick and seamless.

PC Mover Ultimate did exactly what it was supposed to do. I transfered PC data from a PC virtual machine on my MacBook Pro to an HP laptop. everything went fine. Didn't need to re-install anything.

It did not work out of the box. The new computer could not find the old computer. I called their customer service and they guided me through the process.. They took over my computer and configured everything so the transfer took place during the night.

Really good product. Does what it states it will do. We moved programs and files from two old computers to two new computers. The first conversion took five hours, and transferred everything that could work on the new computer, and all files for the various 'art' programs my wife uses. Had to download some new versions of security software, and recover a few program 'keys', but other than that it was pretty easy. After reworking the screen layout to replicate what was on the old system, we were good to go. Made life a lot easier that's for sure. I used the PCmover cable instead of relying on wifi.

I had to buy a copy for each PC I had to transfer. I had to perform the transfer more than once. Make sure you pick what software, components you want to come across or you will get the wrong PC-specific stuff on the new machine. I had a hard time trusting the tool, but, it seems to have gotten the job done if you manually know what to select and bring over.

does not come with a usb cable only ethernet which most laptops don't have. Therefore you have to buy an adapter which makes no sense since every computer has USB ports. The alternative is to use wifi which takes over 24 hours. Also it does not bring over all the Apps/programs, which is the only reason I purchased it. Best Buy will not refund you if the software does not work as intended, in addition trying to order the on=line store is a major hassle. I should change this ti 1 star due to Best buy not standing behind its products it sells.

I purchased this program expecting to be able to transfer some programs from my old computer to a new one. Although the program did work for some programs, it didn't work for many others. Sill, the program was intuitive and easy to use, and probably is the best program out there to do transfers, but it does warn you that it may not work for all programs, and sure enough, it doesn't.

It worked good. I thought I had to use the data cable and you don't. Problem was a had to move my power connection to get the cable in and could not get it to start up again. I got the most important stuff off before I ran out of battery power. My fault not the program.

I was able to pick-up the Laplink PCmover within 30 minutes of placing the order, which was a simple transaction. The The Laplink PCmover worked perfectly with the Laplink Super Transfer Cable that I purchased, The whole transfer to my new Windows 11 computer only took 45 minutes and the computer worked perfectly.

I had to run the program at least a half dozen times before the older computer recognized the new computer. I’m glad I didn’t give up but I think many people would have

The product was simple to use but it did take a while. My only problem was that it did not move one of my internet security programs and my favorites in MS Edge. I emailed support and never received an answer.

This is a fairly simple way to move to a new computer. Definitely worked for almost all my software, the only exception was office they do give instructions before transferring. Just follow the instructions and you'll be fine.

used this to transfer from old laptop to new windows 10 laptop..worked pretty well, some files got "lost" somewhere in windows 10...erased everything on the old computer too when I used the eraser program which came with it...price at Best Buy was great

The one important thing not mentioned is if you only have one monitor you will spend a lot of extra time connecting monitor from old to new desktop in order to see the steps needed to do the transfer. Other than that it was great.

Did a surprisingly good job transferring files and apps. Still had to do significant cleanup and a couple reinstallations.

Overall, couldn't do without it, but I had hoped that this time (third time I have used it) it would be painless. Not quite, but easier than any other alternative.

I usually don't need help, but I sure did using PC Mover, the phone no. They give is not valid, I had to google a valid no. Once I got a hold of them, everything was good after that.

I have been using Laplink, and now PCMover, for many years. THe latest version does an excellent job of moving data and software from an older computer to a newer one. Their on line support was excellent. Their estimates about how long it would take were optimistic, and I could quibble a bit about the way it set up the new computer, but it was much easier to use this product than to try to do the transfers by hand or with discs.
