  • AVOID THIS UNIT! HEATING ELEMENT DOES NOT TURN OFF

    After less than a year, this heater does NOT turn off the heating element. I have to unplug the unit to get the heating element to turn off. This is a MAJOR safety hazard that can burn an entire house down. On top of this, Lasko refuses to honor their 3 year warranty. They claim since the unit was purchased open-box, the manufacturer warranty is voided. Best buy's open-box guidelines contradict this.

    purchased as open box excellent. it was delivered in the original packaging, but the remote control for the device was nowhere to be found. DEFINITELY NOT OPEN BOX EXCELLENT! The good news is that the heater is in great shape and works just fine.

    Returned the first one I bought due to a crack in the plastic, second one also had a crack, but I kept it since it did not affect the heater from working. Now the second one was returned due to a burning smell.

    Doesn’t heat up room. Digital thermostat read out never moves off of 66 degrees. Used in room aprox 225SF
