Very cheaply made, very loud. My black model even came with a nice two tone plug, the plug was navy instead of black. High quality!

Yes, it is loud (about 65db on the high speed) but, oh boy! It blows such a nice amount of air. This thing is so powerfull that it moves by itself if you place it over a nicely polished surface. I usually place it by the window to ventilate my apartment. And it does a great job pushing some fresh air inside.

It's what you can expect for a fan in its price range. Does the job to push air in your direction but lacks a compressor to cool prior to sending it your way. Of-course one with a compressor would exceed its price range, so this lower cost alternative will have to suffice. Compared to a Vornado I have, this fan does appear louder which supports some of the comments I read prior to purchasing. Nonetheless, I would still buy this fan since I am not that sensitive to its operating sound (although really obvious when compared to more costly models). In this case, I can live with what I can afford.

Much better than the similar box fans from Target or Walmart. I have to sleep with a fan on and these Lasko fans are the only ones that seem to last. The brand sold by Target and Walmart tend to start rattling and the screws eventually fall out. Have not had that issue with 3 of these.

It's a fan and it does just that. Not too noisy and the black colour blends in nicely with the furniture. No complaints here.

It’s a good fan the price. It kept us cool during the heat wave.

Put this thing on setting 2 or (yikes) 3 and say goodbye to apartment neighbor noise. Setting 1 is great if you just need some background noise. Oh and it's pretty cool in the summer as well. Best investment ever.

Lasko fans are built to last. Mine last for more than a year.

Good quality for the money. Fairly powerful. I like the square shape. It is pretty loud, but I don't mind most of the time because it's like white noise.

Perfectly designed to go out 2-3 months after warranty goes out. Not a best buy thing. Lasko sux.

Remember fans work well but with airflow in your space!!! this is perfect to put into a window to suck cool air in at night or create airflow on a hot day
