Unfortunately the heater wasn't working properly when I received it. Had to return.

It's small, easy to store, super easy to use, and has a decent amount of settings. It keeps my room at just the perfect temperature, not too hot or cold dependent on settings, and isn't too heavy. Good for bedrooms, although I'm unsure of how it would work in larger rooms.

I have had the same portable heater, except the previous version, for about 3 years now.  I tend to use it in-place of my heat pump in the apartment because of how much more convenient it is.  It's even better if you only need it in one room, as it's not ideal to carry around from room to room, although it's not a huge inconvenience if you do want to use it throughout the home.  It's very functional and user friendly.  It comes with a remote that has a little attachment caddy on the rear of the unit where the carrying handle is (another convenient feature).  It's pretty lightweight, just a bit larger in terms of a portable unit.  The only real downsides are it feels a bit unsteady--although I can't recall it having ever tipped over.  Also, beware at using it too frequently.  1,500 watts is a lot of electricity for continuous use.  When it habitually becomes a replacement for your household heater (using it 8-12 hours a day), it can be deceptively pricey.  That being said, while the unit excels as a personal heater, it still is just that.  Once you shut it off, the heat dissipates from the area quicker than it would if you were to use it to heat a larger space with a heat pump or furnace.   Don't buy this as a replacement for your household heating needs with the expectation that you will save money.  You won't.  It's a great buy for pretty much any small to large sized room you need warm up a bit for several hours at a time.  Has convenient features like the remote, oscillation, and high or low setting, or a temperature preference.  Also has an auto timer shut-off.  For safety purposes, it is best to plug it directly into the wall outlet, opposed to an extension or surge protector. At my last apartment, I ran into an issue where the plug would get very warm after limited use.  If this happens, it is not normal and not safe.  It is also not always because of the appliance (faulty breaker or bad wiring).  So make sure to use a wall outlet that is safely supplying electricity to the heater.  This hasn't occurred since moving into my new home. 

This heater appears well built, it looks really nice and modern and it's the quietest heater i've ever owned or heard. We have a few at my job and they're all pretty noisy. You can't ask for much more in a heater. The oscillation is smooth and quiet and it does help to spread the heat quickly throughout the room. And the little remote is a nice idea if you're in bed and want it to be warm before getting out. It would be nice if it had faster fan speeds. There is just low and high heat settings with no change in fan. No big deal because it does it's job of heating an area.

This little heater is fantastic. Small enough not to get in the way or have a tough time finding a spot for it and great to heat up a bedroom very fast. The remote control is a great feature. I really don't know what else can be said for a portable heater other than what I just said. I highly recommend purchasing this. No complaints at all.

Bought 2 of them at the Orland park Best buy, got home and plug one of them in my kids room and started smelling like the heater was burning up without even turning it on, not a good product.

This product is great. It warms up even the smallest apartment. Its easy to set up, just out the box and plug it in. I bought this for a friend whose landlord forgets to provide heat. I was shocked about how fast it warmed up his room. Within a few minutes half the apartment was warm and comfortable as well. It was so great that i bought one more for myself just for days that are too cold .

An excellent product that delivers instantaneous heat. I only wish that it had a time clock that could be set for a given time to start and stop. It would have been perfect to be able to set it for 5:20 am when I get up so that our bathroom, where we use it, would be warm when we walked in. However, it does not take long to heat up the area so it is only a minor drawback. It has a timer so you can set it for a pre-determined amount of time. The remote does not work from a different room. You must be near the heater for it to work. It has been worth every penny these cold mornings here in Florida.

This unit was smaller than expected. It is easy to lift and carry, and also gives an adequate amount of heat in my basement area. I like having a remote control as well.

Awesome tower space heater. Has lots of adjustments from temp to power. Gives off a great area of heat.

If you're even thinking about this heater...just buy it already! I shopped around and found this to be a good option...then i bought it...and it turned out better than i expected. I especially like the user-friendly controls located on top where they are easy to reach...and the two heat levels (1500 and 750) so you can avoid flipping the circuit breaker if you are using other devices on the same circuit. You won't be disappointed.

I have this heater at my desk in my office. It's perfect for small spaces and would probably heat a large room just fine. The controls are easy to use and the temperatures adjust to your needs. Love it!

Good space heater (for the price). Sometimes it blows out colder air than warm, but it usually does the job. Good for the winter to lower the gas bill.

I was really impressed with the area in which this little heater covered. I placed it in my kitchens dining room area and it not only covered this area, but also half of our living room and a pantry. Highly recommend this heater to anyone who needs a drafty spot heated.

It got cold in Florida, and this heater really helped us out. We was in the 30's only to discover we had no heat. Best buy delivered it quickly and we was thankful for our little Lasko.
