I think my only problem with it is that the remote control doesn't always work for some reason. So you have to press the on button multiple times some times. Other than that, it works great and keeps our room cool.

Moves a lot of wind.

I had been using a 12 inch fan previously, and always had it on max. This new 18 inch fan pushes so much air, I have to keep it at low. I live in southern texas, so bought to prepare for summer. I believe I got the right fan.
