The fan works in open spaces, but if you were planning on using it in your bedroom, forget about; the fan is too loud, you won't be able to fall asleep.

This is a really nice fan and I git it on sale so that was a plus. The only reason that I gave it three stars is because of the noise and flimsy construction. It's easy to put together but also easy to come apart. The air output is excellent though, if you can get past the noise.

I purchased this fan on September 2018 and im very disappointed ..is too noise no matter what speed i put it on and it doesn't stay up it slide down even if i tighten the nob hard it still goes down..thank god i have a 2 year gurantee ..so i will gladly returning it

Fan worked great for two months last summer, then took it out for this summer for a few days and it stopped working.

Though I think this fan's options are excellent for the price point, it was obvious to me that the quality of the materials was not very good. Parts are made of thin plastic and the fit is not the best. Upon setting it up, and when I attempted to stop it from turning, the knob used for this came clean off the assembly and was unusable. Returned within 24 hours.

the first delivery came with a broken oscillator button so i just set up the replacement and it is LOUD. there are only three speed settings and the lowest is very aggressive. i'm afraid this one will have to go back as well.

I love loud fans for sleeping reasons it’s soothing. These are the best. I got the Lasko pedestal fan model 1850 (white) I always tell everyone to get this brand for the best sleeping fan. It has power to blow cool air. Easy assembly. My daughter put it together in less than 5 minutes. She is 10. It is cheap plastic but the motor is solid and easy to move from room to room. They don’t tip over easily. The plastic style doesn’t look bad. Some people are more picky. I have owned a black version and the white. Black looks less cheap than the white if that matters to you. The long skinny fans are quiet and don’t put out as much air. But are good for taking up less space and circulating air. I owned one of those. But I prefer the 20” fans. Hope this helps you all.

I would not buy this for a bedroom. If you are a light sleeper.

Lasko is already one of the best companies that makes fans. This fan is amazing, great air flow and basically who needs an A/C with this thing. I own two lasko pedestal fans and when you add a remote to it, it makes it even better. I'm very happy with my purchase.
