My wife collects all of the Professor Layton games and was absolutely thrilled to add this to her collection! Great to pick up and play in short bursts or if you don't have a lot of time to sit down and invest a lot into the game in just one sitting.

Layton fans are right when they say that it's not the same as it used to be, but the characters are still fun to be around despite the odd way the story is laid out. Puzzles are quite odd, though, many of them are of the "Do X until Y objective is met" variety.

I like the Professor Layton series, but I just thought this was average. I guess since you can get a Layton game on iOs and android for free, it seems like this the price should have been like $15. It's just ok.

My daughters love the switch from the professor to katrielle. I miss him. Still making quality puzzles if a little redundant at times
