I loved all of the Prof. Layton's games this is his daughter's trial run following in her father's footsteps LOVED IT

Great game. Definitely a good successor to the Layton series, which was on the DS. I’m a big fan. But this is a puzzle game so be aware of that before purchasing. If you love brain teasers with a plot, and a bit of point and click exploration, this is a game you’ll love. Fun characters, cute art style, great brain teasers.

fun game for Switch gamers who like casual play and puzzles. graphics are good too. I never played the previous versions, but this is a good game so far.

I love Professor Layton games. The puzzles are great and they add an interesting story to keep you interested. I'm glad they brought this to the switch.

Love this game. Some of the puzzles require a little more brain power than others but this is a great game!

You play as a detective who tries to solve puzzles along to story line. There are 12 cases along with multiple side puzzles and scenarios for you to solve. Some puzzles get harder later in the game. So overall it’s a nice game if you’re into logic puzzles. A drawback of the game is that you actually don’t solve the individual cases yourself. The fact that you’ve completed the puzzles for the case leads you to the final solution for each case.

Got a Switch for Christmas and this is the first game I played. The graphics could be a little more clearer and a little lighter in contrast. Otherwise, a very brainy game. I am enjoying it very much!

This game provides a variety of puzzle types in a decent story setup. There is more back-and forth conversation than I would like. I prefer more (and more difficult) puzzles, though you can get 365 puzzles for free. So far all the free puzzles I've done have been far too easy. The cut scenes are usually pretty fun. It's a laid back game for times when you want that.

I love Layton games. make sure you get your Drift problem resolved before you purchase this game. There is a lot of pointing and clicking so the switch drift is super noticeable.

My wife bought this game and absolutely loves it. She even gets me to helps when the puzzles get tricky.

If you played any of the Professor Layton games on 3DS this game is all for you. Fun puzzles and good story.

Really good game where you solve mystery puzzle stories. Challenging and fun.

Fun game worth a sale price. If you enjoy a casual game that you can set down for up to 7 months, because a AAA title came out, then pick back up the this game to start playing again. Then maybe this is a game you can count on as a good backup to space out the AAA titles. Just how I played. Again wait for a sale price. They always come.

This is my first Layton game and to have a female character with great story and puzzles makes the game fun.

Good animation graphics and interesting puzzles to solve

I have all the Professor Layton games and I'm glad it's now on the Switch. Some puzzles are easy, but with the overall storyline, they keep the game going. Some still get me stumped. I hope Nintendo keeps this series going. It's been a really interesting progression so far!
