I really liked that this leapad has a rechargeable battery and it also has wi-fi. Every week I get an update on how my child has progressed from playing the games. It does this automatically because of the wi-fi, I no longer have to connect it to the computer. The rechargeable battery is also great because I no longer have to spend all this extra money on batteries. That is basically the difference between the ultra leapad and leapad 1 &2.

My daughter took to it the moment she saw it. Interaction seemed natural and parental controls seemed robust. The restricted web "browser" offers piece of mind that content is age appropriate. The skills tracking offers insights into child leaning and offers the ability to customize content and difficulty. It is a good transition from a Mobigo towards a real computer.

Bought this for my 3 year old. take a lil getting used yo but overall easy to use.

This Product was for a 4 year old Child and it has helped her tremendously.

After receiving her new LeapPad my daughter hasn't been able to put it down!

This was a gift for our granddaughter. Once this was opened on Christmas nothing else could get her attention. We were glad we had pre charged and set up wifi prior to wrapping. Downloading additional games was a snap. Would love to have the ability to limit time of use through parental controls but have not been able to find such a feature.

Easy to use. Good graphix. Has a playful look that seems to appeal to kids.

I have a 7 year old daughter and 3 year old twins (boy and a girl) that share these as their learning and having fun time tablet. Before this I have Samsung galaxy tab 4 and they decent, but LeapFrog Ultra XDi is a much better option for my childrens.

Got this for my sons 7 birthdat at the begging of November. The product was easy to set up and he had no problem working his way through the different games and programs. I would recommend this for anyone with kids, our 9 year old daughter also uses it and wants one for her self. I wish that you could get NETFLIX on it or play DVD's but other then that it is a great tool for learning that is fun and the kids want to use.

Overall the leapPad ultra is great. My son learned the whole alphabet and now is working on learning numbers. He's only 3 1/2 years old. He is beginning to write his name and already can count from 1-10 on his own. This device has many apps from where kids can find it easy to learn new tasks like brushing their teeth and keeping them clean.also how to be organized.They get to play while they are doing all of that. The leappad ultra is great!!!
