Leappad ultra performs great with the apps. My grandson tells me about all the different functions and concepts that he has learned. Battery charge life is excellent for hours of fun.

Learning games are easy to download. Device is sturdy ad easy for our 4-year old grandson to hold. He also likes it because now he has a "tablet" of his own. :-)

The tablet is great for the use of a 3yr old. It freezes once in a while and isn't as fast as other tablets like iPads, but what do you expect for $129 and it's made for kids. It isn't the best tablet in the world but it works for my 3yr old son. Great first tablet, definitely will need to upgrade within 2-3 years.

I bought this tablet for my 3.5 year old. He absolutely loves it!!!. There are a lot of leapfrog learning games to choose from in the online store. The games can be pricey but they offer special deals and bundles that help cut down on the cost. Whether your child is into cars, Jake the Pirate, Frozen, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, etc there is a game for them. Plus each game focuses on learning so your child can learn while having fun. I looked at several other tablets for my son but felt this was the best fit due to the learning games with the TV characters he loves.

We purchased two of these for our twin boys. Overall it's a decent learning tool if you fork out the additional money for the software that is not included. I feel like you could get the same thing out of a cheaper tablet by downloading free learning apps or even paying a dollar or two instead of $25 a piece. The kids do enjoy it and I guess that is what matters most.

It's a great substitute for an ipad or iphone for young kids. My only issue is it's a little slow at times.

My son received this as a gift for his third birthday. Love it!! Easy to use and set up. Easy for parents to add apps and monitor usage.

I bought this for my 2 year old. An while I like these products I didnt like how overly priced games are, how half of the apps are clock, calendar, ect. Its pretty heavy which can be both good or bad. I personally think a samsung or amazon tablet would be a better option.

My 3 year old loves his new "IPAD". He's able to use it independantly and doesn't want our Ipad or phones anymore so everybody is happy.

I went to Best Buy to ourchase a Nintendo DS for my 4 year old for Christmas. while i was there i came across the leappads. i was pretty set on the DS but then i thought that the games on the leap pad would be more educational. My son has been having a great time playing and the games are educational. it's cool that it adapts to the learning of the child. it is no ipad, but for a child, it is more than satisfactory.

We purchased the Leapad Ultra after the cheaper generic device we'd bought our son for Christmas stopped working after less than a month. We decided to go with a name brand product. The table is durable and kid-friendly. My son loves it. It's great that games and videos can be downloaded directly to the device and we don't have to keep track of cartridges. And I don't have to worry about what he's watching.

I've used it with my 4 year old for reading and basic skills with ABC and numbers

Kids had older version and they love it. This is better and the wifi is great.

grandson wasn't sure he would like this and before we left we saw how he was challenging himself to get to the next level

purchased for Christmas so not sure yet but the last leapfrog lasted 4+ yrs

Purchased for a younger child (2.75). Enjoying so far but the speed is slow.

I bought this as a gift for my six year old cousin who was diagnosed with autism and learns very well through technology. This tablet beat out all the other kid friendly tablets because the main focus is learning but his favorite characters such as the Transformers can also be present without distracting from learning and it also seemed more kid durable. His parents have said that he hasn't put it down since he got it. I like that the cartridges can grow with him and that it's very interactive. I do wish there was more of a variety of games and that they didn't cost so much. However, there are still many things to do without the cartridges, he tells me often that he's drawing something. He loves it so I'm happy.

Me grandson at 16 months old loves this & is already learning to use it & has two favorite apps on it.

This is a good product for a young learner. I hope my nephew gets several years of use out of it.
