It's a neat product! Simple and easy, but if your child is ready cognitively, but not age wise, it will be a bigger excitement switchin it on and off rather than absorbing and enjoying this products many rich features. Responded for three and up

My daughter enjoys this toy but there are better products available, maybe I'd choose a different one.

More like an electronic Magna doodle with a suggestion on what to draw with sounds and lights.

I purchased one for each of the grandkids. Great that they come in two different colors. Helps to keep them entertained with "their" email while the adult in charge can quietly actually check their own on a "real" computer. The Leaptop allows grandma to add her name & choice of message so the child hears "Grandma J" has sent her/him a message.

Love leapfrog items. This doesn't disappoint either. You plug it up to your computer and go to their website to program in your child's name. There is a blog, music, and other activities. Very durable. We have a green and the pink and both have been dropped, thrown, stepped on and still work.

My 2 and a half year old really likes his own laptop...the leapfrog kids laptop. He plays with it instead of using our laptop, which is great. I wish it had some puzzles on it or more interactive games, but overall he really enjoys it and its a lot of fun to watch him learning on it.

Great learning toy for my 2 year old nephew, keeps his attention, and can be customized/personalized to display child's name. My nephew loves that since he now recognizes his name on the screen and tells everyone it is HIS laptop.

Cool kids laptop, a little outdated compared tomthe new tablets for kids but son loves it.

Keeps my daughter occupied during long road trips. The hinges are very weak. I had barely opened it and it cracked. Wasn't bad enough for me to return it.

I got this product for my toddler and it didn't last too long before it started malfunctioning. It last about 6 months. Good thing is it's not too expensive but you might rather pay more for something that last
