Lots of memories tied to this cd. For a writer (roleplayer), it's inspired many bursts of inspiration for me, which is something I certainly appreciate!

You Don't Belong & Ghost Of Me- kick a** tunes Every Time You Turn Around & What I Meant To Say- catchy as he** songs September & Life After You- very beautiful Open Up Your Eyes- powerful song Not a country fan but I am digging Tennessee Line The best song on this album is Call Your Name. Chris's vocals are superb.

    A majorly talented band...

Daughtry has amazed me yet again. I loved the first album. As I listen to this album more, and more I can see that it is possibly even better the first. The band smoothly transitions to a new sound on this album. "No Suprise" is one of those songs that make you buy an album just because of it. It is so cleverly written. Do not worry though. The entire album is worth listening to. "September", "Life After You", Tennessee Line" and "Open Up Your Eyes" could also be #1 hits. The band has put together a great sophomore album, that will satisfy their loyal listeners and gain them new fans.

    Daughtry does it again.

Nothing is wrong on this album, the music from Ghost of Me to Call Your Name. All the music is fantastic, it's rock, then pop, then country. It has something for everyone. If you like country you'll love the songs Life After You & Tennessee Line. If you are a rock fan, you'll love Learn My Lesson, You Don't Belong, No Surprise, Every Time You Turn Around and Ghost of Me, What I Meant to Say, and if you are a pop fan, you'll love all of the songs. This is an album everyone should own. It's fantastic.

    BEST ALBUM OF 2009

    Posted .

This album really is one of the best this year, if not the best. There is something for everyone, and huge growth from the first album. Howard Benson doesnt overproduce it, the production is just as good as the first album. However, the growth is easy to see.... its clear that this album is going to be as big if not bigger than the first..... If you love good lyrics, melodic music, and one of the best voices in the biz, then buy it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Great CD

I was a big fan of Chris's when he was on AI and was glad he has made it without being the winner (probably better for him) and was excited to hear his first CD....well this one is just as good. I have listened to it twice now since buying it yesterday. I think he will have a couple of more number one hits off of it. Way to go "Daughtry!"

    Very Pleased!!!!

I must say, after his debut album, I was afraid this one wouldn't live up to it. There are alot of artist who come out with killer debut albums, then flop with the next attempt. NOT THIS ONE!!!!!!! AWESOME!!!!!! I look forward to wearing out copies of this one like I did with the first one... Great Job Daughtry...

I was very excited when this CD was announced because the band's first CD was amazing. This CD is just as amazing! The best part is that he writes or co-writes almost all of them.

    Ouch...

I love Daughtry, period. However, I think Chris "Left His Roots". From overproduction to serious genre switching, this follow up is a disappointment. I predict sales will quickly plateau on this one. I have to go back and listen to the 1st album now just to recover. Chalk this one up to the sophomore slump syndrome...still a fan though...
