Good option for cold offline storage

I did not want to keep it online as hacking is a concern and I'm not a trader so I wasn't going to be doing a lot of transactions. Initially, I misunderstood the concept of cold wallet, and thought the keys to the btc would be stored wholly on the Ledger. This is incorrect. Only the private key is stored on it behind an 8 number code and 24 letter recovery seed in case of theft or loss. The public key stays on your Ledger app which allows you to see the balance but not dispose of the btc. It has become a very entertaining activity to have the app open to see how the btc varies up and down. Also, tools are included to purchase, sell, trade or stake (which I don't know what is yet). So I might start purchasing some more crypto when the time is right.

Its easy to use and holds many cryptos. Also they are constantly updating, addingcto theirvalready long list. Just be carefulvof the unsolicited NFTs youvl receive. If you didnt enter an airdrop, its likely a scam to gain access to your acct.
