The best in versatility for Windows and SteamOS

I’m pretty much late into the game. Not because I didn’t jump right in. Bought Rog Ally X in the past and didn’t like it. Was skeptical of the LeGo but took my chances. The LeGo hit the mark. It doesn’t feel like a first gen device. It’s a mature one from design perspectives and features proposition. And now with Bazzite dual booting, it’s such a versatile device. Installing Bazzite is not too complicated and it’s a straightforward process. The hard drive allocation for Bazzite Steam OS is easy to swallow since the LeGo has a micro SD slot that is useable as an additional drive. I’m a fan of handheld devices with detachable controllers. Since LeGo uses Windows by default, the device is not just a portable gaming device, it is a viable device for work purposes. Mini keyboard and mouse are easy to fit in a small sling bag along with the LeGo. I can even bring along a small portable external monitor and the whole setup is still fairly light compared to carrying around a gaming laptop setup. Windows and Xbox gaming in LeGo are great because the framerates are pretty good. It doesn’t need that much tinkering to make AAA titles work well. Assassins Creed Shadows and Helldivers 2 work really well and even can surprised people at the frame rates I was getting with AC Shadows. The screen quality is decent enough though sometimes I wish that it were an OLED. Windows audio is pretty bad, though audio quality improves in Steam OS. The ergonomics are actually pretty good despite the device is not exactly light. The kickstand is a huge contributing factor in making the gaming experience satisfying. Use the kickstand and you won’t be bothered with the weight of the device while playing with the controllers. Or you can use the kickstand, detach the controller and play. There’s a 3D printable controller pad that you can attach the LeGo controllers to. Alternatively, you can use your favorite gaming controller. This device has allowed me to stay in the living room while family members are watching TV instead of gaming in my room. Am I late to the game? Well, there’s an inherent advantage to that: open box prices are so good that the fact that the new LeGo 2 will come out sometime later this year is not a huge factor in deciding ownership especially amidst tariffs uncertainty. Am I excited about LeGo 2? Resoundingly yes. My top 3 reasons: Z2 Extreme, OLED screen and bigger RAM. The LeGo 2 will likely have larger battery capacity, however, these days a large capacity power bank is easy to carry around. For now, game on. This is a solid portable gaming device, and I can see that the device can withstand AAA games with manageable framerates for a few years to come. The LeGo deserves the five stars because this device doesn’t feel like a first gen product.

I really enjoy the Legion Go, it is a versatile gaming machine with quirks. There is a lot of tinkering that needs to be done to have it running your favorite games smoothly. Some games are not well optimized for PC and that can be a huge problem for certain setups especially in the handheld PC world. A game like Resident Evil 4 Remake seemed like a fever dream for me to run on this when it first released as it barely ran on my Intel graphics card. Well in early 2025 I thought its been a while why not download it to my Legion go and see what it looks like. It ran way better than I had anticipated, I was sort of blown away by this thinking back on what a pain the game was on my Arc770le. This thing is great for on the go but you do have limited battery life especially on those more demanding games. I have used this on airplanes with some success though you will need a good backup battery to keep it going for longer. Where this device truly shines for me is just casually playing games around my house or taking the device to my local fighting game meetups. This wont be tournament legal for most of the new fighting games currently out but has been excellent for casual setups. With the removable controllers it makes it more pack-able as well. I have been trying to get friends to also purchase this over the consoles as you do not need a subscription to play steam games and you have the option of Gamepass if you really want it. It also doubles as a compact PC that you can hookup to televisions and portable monitors if you get a dock. The price is always a bit high but there are sales here and there which I would highly recommend you jump on if you get the opportunity. The things that are rough about the device is the tinkering to get games going, where they put the speakers, the sharp design of the device, and the fan sounding like a jet engine. If you dont mind those things there are plenty of positives of this device.

I also have the non-OLED Steam Deck (since Aug 2022). I upgraded the SSD to 2tb, installed the Hall effect sticks, and even installed the DeckHD screen. While the SD did the things I needed it to, it was frustrating to get a few of the games working. What led me to look at the ROG Ally and Legion Go was because all of a sudden, Balders Gate 3 stopped opening and Persona 3 Reload was running at a measly 15 fps in a few areas. I was also finding that I was continuously needing to tweak my games just so it could run properly. I scoured reviews of both the Ally and Legion Go and decided on the Legion Go due to the screen size and the recent updates which made it a lot better. It was also widely known the Ally had SD card issues due to its placement. I was also concerned about running Windows, but I’m glad I chose the Legion Go. The Ally would’ve just been an incremental upgrade to the SD. Pros - the screen is amazing - since it runs Windows, it can run all my games effortlessly (BG3, Diablo IV, FFXIV with all mods) - Windows allows the flexibility to install everything you would normally on a PC - it can be used as a normal PC especially if you use OneDrive - Hall effect sticks are a game changer - Steam input controls makes navigating Windows a lot better - All my games run better and look better. - Disconnecting the controllers is great - the weight doesn’t bother me. It’s a noticeable difference but doesn’t affect me. - Chianti (for PS5 remote play) runs better than on the SD Cons - battery life is much worse than I thought it would be. It only lasts maybe an hour and a half so I have to plug it in frequently. I’ll eventually tweak the settings to get better battery life, but it gets annoying. - the fan gets really loud in performance mode. You will want to tweak your game settings - the sound out of the box is so bad. You will want to install the Realtek Audio Control app, then look on Reddit for the best settings. This improved it dramatically. Overall I’m glad I got the Legion Go. It’s a significant upgrade, and with the FSR 3.0 mod, it is incredible. Starfield looks almost as good on my PC (AMD 7700x with a XFX 6800 XT card) and runs at about 40 fps.

Lenovo Legion Go (8.8”) Review: A Powerhouse

Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

The Lenovo Legion Go is an ambitious entry into the handheld gaming PC market, competing with the Steam Deck and ASUS ROG Ally. Featuring an 8.8-inch QHD+ display, AMD Ryzen Z1 Extreme processor, and removable controllers, it blends high performance with versatility. But is it the ultimate gaming handheld? Here’s a deep dive. Design & Build Quality: Bulky But Functional The Legion Go sports a large 8.8-inch display, making it one of the biggest handhelds available. While the added screen real estate enhances immersion, it also makes the device noticeably bulkier and heavier than its competitors. The detachable controllers are a unique touch, allowing for a Nintendo Switch-like experience. The kickstand is sturdy, making tabletop gaming comfortable. Display: Stunning But Overkill? The 2560x1600 resolution 144Hz display is a significant leap over competitors like the Steam Deck (800p) and ASUS ROG Ally (1080p). Colors pop, and games look incredibly sharp, but the high resolution is overkill for a small screen, especially since most games run smoother at 1080p. Thankfully, the Legion Go lets you adjust resolution and refresh rate for better battery life. Performance: Ryzen Z1 Extreme Delivers With the AMD Ryzen Z1 Extreme and 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM, the Legion Go handles AAA games and emulation effortlessly. Performance is comparable to the ROG Ally, making it one of the most powerful handhelds on the market. However, Windows 11 is still clunky on a handheld, and software optimization can be hit-or-miss. Battery Life: A Weak Spot Despite its 49.2Wh battery, the Legion Go struggles with battery life, lasting around 2-3 hours under heavy gaming loads. This is due to its power-hungry display and processor. Expect to stay near a charger or invest in a power bank for extended play sessions. Controller Experience: A Unique Touch The removable controllers are innovative, with the right controller even doubling as a joystick-style mouse in FPS mode. This could be a game-changer for some, but others might prefer traditional control schemes. Hall effect joysticks eliminate drift issues, which is a great addition. Software & UI: Windows 11 Struggles Running Windows 11, the Legion Go provides full PC gaming flexibility, but Windows isn’t optimized for handhelds. Navigating menus can be frustrating compared to the streamlined experience of SteamOS. Lenovo’s Legion Space UI attempts to simplify things, but it still lacks the polish of Steam Deck’s interface. Verdict: A Feature-Packed Powerhouse with Trade-Offs The Lenovo Legion Go is a powerful, feature-rich handheld that excels in performance, display quality, and versatility. However, its size, weight, battery life, and Windows-based UI hold it back from perfection. If you want top-tier performance with a large screen and unique controller features, this is an excellent choice—but for a more compact, optimized experience, alternatives like the Steam Deck or ROG Ally might be better. Pros & Cons ✔ Gorgeous 8.8” QHD+ 144Hz display ✔ Ryzen Z1 Extreme provides excellent performance ✔ Removable controllers with FPS mode ✔ Hall effect joysticks (no drift) ✔ Versatile form factor with kickstand ✖ Bulky and heavy for a handheld ✖ Battery life is mediocre ✖ Windows 11 is clunky on a handheld ✖ High resolution isn’t always practical for gaming Rating: 8/10 – A powerful handheld PC with great features but notable compromises.

This device is perfect for my needs: sitting in bed with the controllers detached, and the big, beautiful screen propped up on a tray table. If that’s how you want to game, I believe this is the best device currently on the market, unless you want to shell out another grand. I also own a steam deck OLED. Opted to upgrade to this device for the bigger screen and better performance. Very satisfied on both counts. I was worried that, coming from OLED, I’d be underwhelmed by the colors on the Legion Go: while the blacks are better on the SD OLED, the LeGO’s colors are very vibrant and the level of detail/high resolution it can show makes it a significant visual upgrade overall. On the other hand, if you are looking for a truly portable device that you can play handheld with a decent battery, this is not the best option. It’s very heavy to play with the controllers attached and it uses a lot of power, so you won’t get much play time without being plugged in. Again, I play at home with the screen propped up, so not a problem for me. Lastly, I’ve seen people criticize the controller ergonomics. I find them very comfortable to use detached, no issues whatsoever. But, I could see them being uncomfortable if attached to the screen with all the added weight. TLDR: I love this thing. Detach the controllers, prop up that beautiful screen, plug it in and play for hours. Not great as a true handheld due to short battery life and heavy weight.

As a passionate gamer, I’ve had my fair share of gaming handhelds, but the Lenovo Legion Go has truly blown me away. This device is a powerhouse in a compact form, and I can't get enough of it! 1. Stunning Display and Smooth Gameplay The 8.8" WQXGA display is jaw-dropping! With a 144Hz refresh rate, every game looks crisp, vibrant, and incredibly smooth. Whether I'm playing fast-paced shooters, RPGs, or open-world games, the visuals are nothing short of spectacular. The 144Hz refresh rate delivers an ultra-smooth gaming experience with zero motion blur, making it perfect for competitive gaming. 2. Performance That Doesn’t Quit The AMD Ryzen Z1 Extreme processor combined with 16GB of RAM and a 1TB SSD makes the Legion Go an absolute beast. Multitasking and gaming on the go have never been so effortless. No matter how demanding the game, the Legion Go handles it with ease. Load times are lightning-fast thanks to the 1TB SSD, and I’ve yet to experience any lag or stuttering. 3. Perfect for On-the-Go Gaming The Legion Go is perfect for gaming on the go. It’s lightweight and portable, making it easy to take anywhere, yet still packs a punch in terms of performance. The 8.8-inch screen is the ideal size—not too big to be bulky but large enough to get immersed in games without straining your eyes. Plus, the battery life is impressive, allowing for extended gaming sessions without constantly worrying about charging. 4. Ergonomically Designed Controls The ergonomic design of the Legion Go makes it comfortable to hold for hours on end. The controls are responsive, and the triggers, thumbsticks, and buttons feel incredibly natural. The customizable controls and the detachable Joy-Con-style controllers are a game-changer for me, allowing for different play styles depending on the game I’m playing. The responsiveness and tactile feedback are exceptional! 5. Incredible Value for Power Given the specs and performance, I think the Legion Go offers incredible value for money. The combination of top-tier hardware and a well-crafted design makes it feel like a premium product that punches way above its weight class. It’s honestly hard to find anything this powerful and portable at such a competitive price point. 6. Aesthetic and Design The Shadow Black color adds a sleek and professional look to the device, giving it a sophisticated yet edgy feel. It’s compact, stylish, and stands out without being overly flashy. Plus, it just feels solid and well-built in my hands. Final Thoughts: The Lenovo Legion Go 8.8" Gaming Handheld is a true game-changer. It combines unbeatable performance with an immersive display, ergonomic controls, and amazing portability. Whether you're a casual gamer or a hardcore enthusiast, this device has everything you need to game anywhere, anytime, at the highest level. If you’re in the market for a gaming handheld, the Legion Go is without a doubt the best choice out there. It's the real deal!

LeGo Gen 1 is becoming the value king

I've had a steam deck for years. As GeForce Now and Xbox Cloud Gaming have become better and better, I found myself loving my steam deck even more. With a busy life, kids, work, and other things eating at my time, handheld gaming has become my go to. But I've realized I needed an upgrade. I had been eyeing the new handhelds coming out. Waiting to pounce....until I saw the prices. No way. Not for the mediocre performance increase. Spending twice as much for a handheld puts them in the "niche gamer" category. I then realized that there was another option. The Legion Go gen 1. with a 1600p 144hz nearly 9 inch screen, decent software, great wifi, and an awesome processor, the price absolutely is worth it. Does it have drawbacks? Sure, its a little heavier, but nothing that is tiresome unless you're used to the light Nintendo switch. Does windows have flaws? Sure. But if you've ever played on a PC you're well aware of those drawbacks. Is the battery mediocre? Sure, but only on AAA games. (Btw, this runs Battlefield 6 natively and plays it very well at decent settings). It's a decent handheld for native gaming. But for streaming, there is nothing better. Playing GeForce Now or Xbox Cloud at 1440p, 120hz with ultra everything on a gigantic screen and playing for 3 hours on a single charge is lifechanging. You will never go back. So if you want the best bang for your buck, hands down, the Legion Go gen 1 is the way to go. Get one before they discontinue this beautiful piece of hardware.

I really really really like my Lenovo Legion Go! But I'm also not a typical user. I've already installed Linux on this device and unlocked more power in doing so. This device is excellent for anyone with patience or who loves to tinker. However, the default experience isn't the best and the first few hours with the device are better spent with a mouse and keyboard - even on windows. At a high level - Good: - Screen is wonderful from a refresh rate and color perspective, but I think the lack of an OLED panel is a mistake. - Performance is outstanding, likely the best of the 2023 handhelds. - Versatility - Again, likely the best of 2023 with a seamless FPS mode and a robust set of features. - Linux compatibility - Plug-and-play with Nobara, Bassite, and ChimeraOS linux distributions with only minor caveats and usually superior performance in every way. - USB4 - Having not one, but TWO full speed (40 Gbps) USB4 ports means this thing can already make use of external GPUs, thunderbolt docks, and other high performance peripherals. Meh: - Battery life is kinda meh. You can get a notable upgrade in battery life by switching to linux, but the display still likely consumes more power than the competing devices. It's not BAD if you know what you're doing and optimize games for 15 watts TDP or less, but still not as good as other devices. - Storage - I have the 1TB model, and I wish I had double the space with modern games reaching 200GB. The SD card slot helps a bit with older/smaller games, but provide a notable impact to load times on games over 40GB in size. USB4 is a far more effective way Bad: - Lenovo's software coupled with Windows is a terrible experience. Since this device has 16GB of memory shared between the CPU and the GPU, you'll often experience issues configuring the GPU with more than 4GB of RAM (leaving 12GB for the cpu) since Windows, on a clean boot, will take up 4-5GB of Ram without loading legion-space or the other tools. Add to this every launcher you'll need and maybe a web browser tab or two, and you run out of RAM fast. This problem is almost entirely a non-issue when running Linux where the RAM usage running Steam Big Picture is less than 2GB - meaning you can go up to an 8GB allocation for the RAM and unlock a TON of performance. - Lack of RAM - as stated above sharing 16GB of ram is tough. That's why modders are already offering upgrades to 32GB (which further unlock 10% MORE performance). In Linux, ZRAM helps make it hurt less.

Lenovo Legion Go Review (1TB SSD / 16GB)

I’ve been using the Lenovo Legion Go for a while now, and I’m seriously impressed with how much power this handheld packs. With the 1TB SSD and 16GB of RAM, I can easily store a ton of games and still have room left over for media. Load times are lightning fast — most games boot up in seconds, and performance has been smooth across everything from indie titles to heavier AAA games. The display is gorgeous — bright, crisp, and big enough to make gaming or watching TV genuinely enjoyable. I often use it to stream shows and movies when I’m not gaming, and the picture quality and speakers are surprisingly solid for a handheld device. Battery life is decent considering the power it’s pushing, and the detachable controllers make it super versatile. I love being able to dock it or prop it up to watch Netflix or YouTube without needing to hold it the whole time. Overall, the Legion Go has become my go-to device for gaming and entertainment on the go. It’s basically a mini PC in my hands. If you’re looking for something powerful, portable, and well-built, I can’t recommend it enough.

I'm a console gamer, but I picked this up to primarily play older games on the couch, with the occasional mod. I was surprised at how well this is able to play some newer titles. For example, I plan on getting the upcoming Avowed so I can play on my Legion Go and Xbox. Sure it won't not look as good as of I were running it on a full desktop with a 4090, but I can play on the couch. Extra: The screen is big and looks amazing. The controllers detach like a Switch. It has a built in kickstand and Legion Space app has improved as a launcher. Cons: Battery: Battery life is bad. Most people bring along a battery pack for extra juice. I find that for older games, it's not that bad, but for something like Cyberpunk, the battery will drain quickly. Controller ergonomics: pointing this out because it's a common complaint. The controller has sharp edges. This is not an issue for me. I have not had any discomfort while gaming, but you might. Weight: It's heavy. I like to play with the bottom edge resting on something or my elbows supported.

Love everything about this. The complaints on it arent really to be taken seriously. Yes its big and heavy. Its a handheld PC capable of a lot. We love everything about it. My wife uses it for her tiktok and content creation, plays all her cozy games on it. Only slight complaint is battery life, but again. Its handheld and powerful. Still lasts 6-8 hours playing her games, probably less on a more graphics heavy game.

I recently acquired the Lenovo Legion Go, and within just two days, I've already logged over six hours of enjoyable handheld gaming. Let me start by emphasizing just how large the handheld is – it's substantial, but in the best possible way. This size translates to an incredibly usable screen that is simply mesmerizing to behold. I've seamlessly integrated Game Pass Ultimate, Steam, and PlayStation Remote, and the performance has been flawless. Game Pass titles run effortlessly without any need for adjustments, while Steam games may require minimal tweaking, particularly for additional triggers behind the handheld. The graphics are top-notch, supporting high-performance settings at 2160 resolution across all the games I've played so far. The inclusion of a native Windows client adds to the device's versatility, and I'm already planning to purchase a dock to transform it into a portable desktop for use with a monitor. My primary motivation for buying the Legion Go was to catch up on missed PlayStation titles, explore PC exclusives, and indulge in indie gems. With this device, I can now join my "PC master race friends" anytime, anywhere, thanks to its expensive-looking and aesthetically pleasing design. The built-in kickstand proves handy when I prefer a hands-free gaming experience at a table. Next on my agenda is adding emulators for some classic Mario gaming, along with expanding storage capacity with a mini SanDisk 1TB for more downloadable content. In short, I wholeheartedly recommend investing in the Lenovo Legion Go, especially if you're keen on gaming on the go, freeing up your TV, or even staying productive while traveling.

It has been awesome so far. Performance is solid, it runs heavy games pretty smooth, and the screen looks super clean and sharp. Storage is great too, plenty of space for bigger games. The controllers feel good in the hand, though they could be a little more solid. Battery life isn’t the best, but that’s expected for something this powerful. Overall it’s been a great experience, and I’d definitely recommend it if you want a handheld that can game and still feel like a mini PC.

The Lenovo Legion Go is a bold entry into the handheld gaming space, combining the power of a gaming laptop with the flexibility of a portable console. It’s big—think “Nintendo Switch after hitting the gym”—but that size packs serious benefits: a stunning 8.8-inch QHD+ 144Hz touchscreen, detachable controllers with mouse mode, and full Windows 11 support. Powered by the AMD Ryzen Z1 Extreme and RDNA 3 graphics, it runs modern AAA titles with ease, handles emulation like a pro, and doubles as a mini productivity device. The display is crisp, smooth, and gorgeous, making every game look premium. Battery life is its one weak point—expect 1.5 to 3 hours of gaming—but Rapid Charge helps, and the performance trade-off is worth it. Windows brings unmatched flexibility, though it occasionally reminds you that it’s not quite console-friendly. If you want the most powerful and versatile handheld on the market and don’t mind its size or Windows quirks, the Legion Go is an absolute unit—in the best possible way.

Okay, I wasn’t ready for how ridiculously good the Lenovo Legion Go is. Like, this thing is a full-blown gaming PC in your hands. I fired it up and was immediately blown away. The screen? Absolutely gorgeous. The 144Hz refresh rate makes everything buttery smooth. I didn’t know an 8.8" display could look this sharp and fluid. Performance? Soild. I’ve been running some heavy-duty games, and it just powers through them without breaking a sweat. The controls feel great, the build is solid, and the overall experience feels super premium. Now, to keep it real battery life could be better. It’s not terrible, but don’t expect marathon sessions without a charge nearby. That said, I’ve been using a compact battery pack and it keeps things running without much fuss, so it’s an easy workaround. And shoutout to BestBuy.com they nailed it. Fast shipping, super clean packaging, and a website that made the whole process simple. No weird delays, no confusion. Just smooth and easy from cart to doorstep. If you’re even thinking about handheld PC gaming, this is one to considered. Also, look out for good deal. Best Buy put some great prices on this device. Hope this helps you.

The Legion Go Z1 Extreme is a near-perfect handheld gaming device that delivers both comfort and power in a sleek, well-designed package. One of its standout features is its ergonomic build, making it a perfect fit for any hand size. Unlike other handhelds that can feel awkward or heavy after extended play sessions, the Legion Go is balanced so well that fatigue simply isn’t an issue. Whether you have smaller hands or larger ones, the device sits comfortably, allowing for hours of gaming without strain. The true star, however, is the Z1 Extreme chip, which provides an incredible level of performance. Playing modern, demanding titles like Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is an absolute dream, running smoothly with stunning visuals that make it easy to forget you’re gaming on a handheld rather than a high-end PC or console. Another major highlight of the Legion Go Z1 Extreme is its detachable grips, which add a whole new layer of flexibility to the experience. Unlike many other handheld gaming devices where detachable controllers can feel flimsy or wear down over time, these grips come off and reattach seamlessly without any risk of becoming loose. The build quality here is simply excellent, ensuring that players always have a solid, responsive feel when gaming. Whether you’re someone who’s unsure about this device or just a fan of portable gaming in general, I can say with 100% confidence that the Legion Go Z1 Extreme is a must-have. It combines the best of comfort, performance, and durability in a way that very few handhelds manage to achieve, making it a no-brainer for anyone looking for a premium portable gaming experience.

I was skeptical about the Legion Go at first, but it’s blown me away!! The display is gorgeous, games run smooth, and the controls feel solid in hand. Yes, you have to adjust some Windows settings, but once it’s dialed in, the performance is incredible. Battery life is decent, and the portability makes it easy to take anywhere. Compared to other handhelds, the value here is unbeatable. Honestly, it exceeded my expectations—I’d recommend it to anyone considering one.

The Lenovo legion go has far exceeded my expectations, this device has been my go to gaming device now and I love it, it literally goes everywhere with me and with connection to a hot spot you can run any of your online games weather it be on Steam, Epic or any other game launcher, the only downside I find is that battery life is a tad bit low but my simple fix was buying a portable charger and that extended my gaming sessions for much longer. My wife is jealous of it and wants one now too, so needless to say there will be two in my household in the near future!

Great handheld system. I own a steamdeck also. But this Legion Go has a nice big screen, dual usb4 ports and runs windows 11. I was able to use one if the usb 4 thunderbolt ports to install a egpu. That really upoed my graphics. I truly do love this handheld. Tons of good. But the bad. Battery life is low, its a power hungry device. The controllers are not the most comfortable. But you can find some grips for them. The speakers are top facing so its better to use headphones. And its on the large size if you have small hands. But the controllers detached so you can play it on its kickstand.

If you come into this purchase understanding that you’re getting the power of a desktop in a handheld - which comes with battery life issues - it is fantastic. The retractable controllers make it unique and exciting to use in the PC handheld world. The screen is amazing. I have a Nintendo switch OLED and I easily prefer the experience from the Legion Go. Now with SteamOS being able to be installed, windows has lost its ability to be a dealbreaker. Choose the OS that best fits your needs. I would say: Build - 9/10. Would be a 10/10 with more color options out of the box. Specs - Will be on par with the ROG ally and ROG _ALLY 6. Z1 extreme chip is fantastic work from AMD. The Z2 options would be a bit of a step back. Also internal storage is fairly easy to add on all 3 devices. For comparison sake, I’ll give it an 8/10 for specs. Having OLED and better grips on the controllers would set it off to the top. Price - Steamdeck is undefeated in price per value. If you look hard enough though, you can find great deals. I found my legion go in excellent open box form and looked flawless. I came away with it around $550 before tax which is the same price point of a 1tb OLED steam deck. I’d say that’s a fantastic deal. You won’t regret this. Be mindful that the battery life on performance mode will only last you about 1.5-2 hours max. If you keep plugged in you won’t have to worry. By playing on lower settings you could squeeze more out of it as well. To put into perspective how much I’ve enjoyed this — I am currently selling my own desktop with a i99900k + 2070, 36 gb ram, 1tb m2 storage. For the sole purpose that I can do almost everything I want to do on my desktop, on my legion go and take it on the go. Listen to me - DO IT!
