Windows is horrible
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The battery is a real killer and the windows experience is horrible. Had to spend a lot of time tweaking games to work properly. The screen is great and it runs games much better than a steam deck. Thankfully the new one has SteamOS

Awesome handheld but maybe not the best
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Legion go is an amazing handheld PC. For me the handheld is a little bit too big to fit comfortably in my hands. I did notice my hands were fatigued after a short time of gameplay. I eventually traded this for the ROG ally which I think is better because of the economics and huge weight difference. The legion goes screen is amazing. I think an 8 inch screen would’ve been perfect versus the 8.8 inch screen. The mouse feature is cool, but it’s a little bit gimmicky. I really couldn’t play well with it at the end of the day. It’s just personal preference this handheld is great it just wasn’t for me.

Fun device overall
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's a great device overall, especially if you want to play indie games or old remasters. It does struggle with newer games, so if you want to play those then I would recommend getting a gaming laptop or PC instead. The display is nice and the kickstand is a nice addition. The biggest issue is the battery life. Even at lower graphics settings it's not great. The ergonomics are also not the best but if you use the kickstand and an external controller this is not really an issue. The only other con is it can take a little bit of tinkering to get some games running well, but it's usually not to bad, and there are a lot of guides online nowadays. That being said, you won't have a console like experience with this device. Despite the flaws, I would recommend the legion go if you can afford it

Legion Go
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Took me a couple days to really tinker everything and get everything running. I love the screen on this machine. I would recommend if you don’t want to spend on the newer handhelds. Even thought I went for the new Xbox one I would still highly recommend this once you tinker everything update drives and all that it’s a beast. I will say the d pad is not my favorite and battery would be more like a stay home device for me.

We are glad to read that you are satisfied with your Legion Go overall. We appreciate your input regarding getting the system setup and the D-pad. Better than a Steam Deck
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this device! I have a Steam Deck which is great and all but its very limited and I did not like Linux so I decided to go for something more powerful. I haven't touch my Steam Deck since i got this. Everything has been running smooth with little to no limitations and the screen is huge! Removing the joycons from the device is a huge plus. Only thing is i wish the battery life was better but its not too much of a bother right now.

Lets GO!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got this handheld as a early birthday gift and can say I love it! It plays everything fairly well but heavier games it def struggles. The controllers are amazing but i suggest when you are gaming to disable the trackpad as it is super easy to accidently tap it which can mess you up in certain games. The fact it comes with a nice case is a huge plus in my book since the other handhelds are higher prices dont even do that

Best Gaming Handheld, until Legion Go 2 drops
||Posted . Owned for 10 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. One of the best options out there, in terms of handhelds. Ive tried the steamdeck, and the RoG Ally, and this device has the best specs, as well as the biggest screen. Im a developer, so i installed Gentoo linux and got the system to idle under 1 GB of RAM. all of these gaming handhelds have an inferior computer experience because of windows and how it hogs resources that can be used in game. Overall, portability is high, just clear out the majority of space in your bag for this, or get a dedicated carry case that can also hold your charger and any accessories. The Built In controllers are okay. They could definitely be better. I typically just use my xbox elite controller 2. I got the 1 TB model, although i would highly consider upgrading a 2 TB or larger drive.

Basically a handheld PC
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Amazing compact device, it's like a mini pc. It's pretty big only compared to other handheld devices. The optimization is not going to be the best ever but with a couple of tweaks in your settings you can have this device playing your favorite AAA games. Fan get pretty loud and screen heats up a bit but it's a given since it's the first gen. Hopefully soon Lenovo releases an upgraded version with all the fixes, then it'll be the perfect handheld you must own.

Great gaming handheld!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was worried about getting the OG Legion Go because of all the complaints about battery life, noise and weight. First: the handheld doesn't feel heavy at all on the hands; Second: the controllers are so comfortable, also detachable which is a "game changer" on itself; Third: with the correct settings (reddit is your friend on this), I've played for two straight hours and ended up with 70% battery left; and lastly, the noise and heat is real, this doesn't bother me that much but I understand that can be a deal breaker for some. Just try it and see it fo yourself.

Powerful portable system
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Nice system can play games well. Can get a bit hot. I used it mostly for a portable system when visiting out of town friends or family. Having Windows is nice because I can sync it with my PC at home.

The screen is amazing
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Pros- the screen is huge and beautiful. Its windows based and runs everything. Comes with a cool case that lets you charge the device while closed. And what i thought was a gimmick has become my favorite thing about the legion go which is the FPS mode. Game changer. Cons- battery life is varies. It can be good sometimes and terrible the next. All depends on what youre playing. For some people this device might be to big. For me it was fine but it might not be for everyone. Not many accessories available for the device yet.

A pretty decent device but…
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Legion Go is great device for gaming or using it as a portable PC. The screen is amazing. The detachable controllers remind me of the Switch. Removing them basically turns the Go into a tablet PC. Only gripe I have are with the sound from the speakers. It’s not terrible but also not great. You can tweak the settings to improve it a bit or just wear headphones/earbuds and it’s all good. It’s a great device on its own or to add to your already existing collection of portable gaming PC’s.

Honestly better than Gaming Laptop
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's really great I mainly wanted it to play some of my games away from my setup or on the go. This is my first handheld of its kind so here's my pros and cons as a first time user Pros: Great screen size Graphics are good granted I'm not playing shooters Controls are nice and comfy good memory Nice stand Cons: I call it space heater, it gets hot Not comfortable to hold for long and my hands are pretty average Battery isn't great

||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Defiantly was worth the upgrade from the ROG Ally. Excellent gaming console.
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Excellent gaming console, it runs most actual games at good grafics and frame rate, and its compact form make it perfect for transportation. But also it also has low battery life when playing games, and the screen its to big, even for the console it self, in some games the best thing to do is to decrease the resolution for a better performance. Totally recommend it surprised me how well it works in demanding games. And the controles are also surprisingly good.

Handheld computer for the win!
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the first gaming PC ever owned and for it to be a handheld PC well you can’t beat that! The screen is huge and the display is beautiful. The unboxing experience was satisfying. It has a little bit of weight to it but comfortable to hold. I like that it has a Usb-c port at the top and bottom. Took me a bit to optimize, even upgraded the SSD my self. If you’re looking for a portable handheld PC this is it!
