Gaming computer on the Go
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This thing is a monster. You can push it to play some crazy mods. Of course it is limited but the fact that I can play Skyrim with 600GBs of mods, or games like Final Fantasy 7 remake on the go speaks for itself. The only downside is how quickly the battery dies the more demanding the game is, you’ll get an hour for sure on demanding games. Nothing a portable battery can’t fix.

Screen star of the show
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After multiple updates and restarts, this thing is a pleasure to game on. It is a bit heavy but feels great in the hand. The audio out the box is not great and with demanding games battery life can be poor. The community over on Reddit have a ton of great recommendations for customizing the Legion Go, all of the answers to my questions where found on there. Overall this is a great device to game/watch movies on and I decided to keep it even though I already have a Steamdeck.

Stop being a baby and just get it!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Just get it, the things amazing! Super nice screen the same or better performance than the ally. The kickstand is a huge selling point super durable. Just as ergonomic as any other mainstream option with the option to detach the controllers which is super nice. Espically if you have a bluetooth keyboard it becomes basiclly a pocket all in one pc.

Good, not great
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bit complicated to use, battery life is subpar and performance is all over the place depending on the game you play. Build quality is top notch and the display is one of the best I have ever seen in an LCD.

Not worth it
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Once I opened this up and played it, it was amazing game was smooth screen was big and had a lot of color, but I couldn’t be blinded by the good parts of this because the bad side is worse, very bad battery (1 hour play til 0%) sound was coming from the top which made it impossible to hear anything, and the device got wayy too hot for comfort.

All in one system
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. To me this is the perfect handheld computer. I’ve owned a few other devices but this is the one I kept. I like the versatility, detachable controllers, fps mode, and large screen you can do way more than gaming because of those features.

I enjoy this
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Once again, Best Buy had the best deal I could find on a brand new Legion Go. I'm a sucker for handhelds and have owned several over the years. Have not done any mods or tried different OS's like Bazzite. Running the legion go as a stock machine has been enjoyable in my experience. Does extremely well as an emulation machine and the display is very nice. Battery life is as expected with something like this, very short. The USB C port supports an eGPU and the machine does extremely well with the additional power. With all the positives about this machine, I would not recommend it as a standalone PC like some people seem to do.

Perfect screen for a handheld
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Perfect screen size for gaming, I did not trust handhelds previously because I am more into action games which have a lot of shooting, and I want to be able to see every detail and shoot from a far, but this 8" display addresses that concerns. I am able to play all my AAA games of this, like Call of Duty, MEA, Spiderman, etc with good resolution. The battery is a challenge, since you get an hr or 2 at the max, but I just game at home, so I just plug it in while gaming

Pc on the go
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I can’t complain about this purchase. Does what it’s advertised to do. It’s a decently powerful pc with on the go capabilities. Runs on windows 11 and that opens up a lot of what you can run on it. It is on the heavier side but that’s because of the huge screen. Once you find a comfortable way to hold it you don’t notice. It comes with a case and that’s definitely on less thing I had to buy. This was definitely worth the purchase.

King of the gaming handhelds
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This thing is solid. Of all the handheld gaming devices that I've owned this is by far my favorite. Screen size is enormous, and gorgeous to look at. the removable controllers is neat and very convenient for different gaming scenarios, and I love the built-in kickstand. This thing has no issues running any of my current Library. You're not going to get the highest settings and FPS on Modern games, but it will surprise you on how well it can run them all.

Great product for the right person
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Lenova Legion go is a great product for people that are on the go and want to be able to play their games. In the time that I was reviewing it, I realized that unless you’re on the go a lot and really don’t have time to set up a console like an Xbox or PlayStation then it’s for you. But if you are home 80% of the time it’s not really useful. On top of the fact that even though it is a handheld device, you still have to have Internet to play your online games and have the charging cord plugged up because the performance will drop quite quickly. It’s great for off-line games but not much else. I think that goes for all handheld gaming devices. The other thing about this product specifically is that the controllers make it a pain to hold for a long period of time. The hardened edges dig into your hand the longer you’re playing and it gets a little painful.

One of if not the best Handheld PCs!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Coming from a original Steam Deck, this thing is miles better! I switched exclusively because SteamOS lacks compatibility with my favorite PC Games, so Windows was a must have. The performance was genuinely surprising, I expected it to be a tad better but not substantially better, I've had some games go from 25-30fps to 40-60, and the detachable controllers and kickstand are really convenient. I highly recommend it! More storage would be nice with the size of modern games, but the SD Slot helps make up for it!

Amazing hardware, awkward size
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is honestly a great device. One of the best gaming experiences. Demanding titles like Elden Ring and Baldurs gate 3 ran very smoothly and the display is clear and crisp. This device is a bit bulky, so keep that in mind. If you have average sized hands, the controllers are going to feel awkward and kind of uncomfortable. You will definitely feel the weight of the device after an hour of playing.

Good but not great
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great for basic games. I played dead island 2 with my girlfriend and it handled amazing other than one or two times that it crashed. If you have more than one app open and you are not i. Performance mode it tends to freeze. The battery does get sucked down super fast when not on charge. It might last an hour while playing a game.

COOL at first but then.... Eh.
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. At first I thought WOW! Fit and finish, typical Lenovo. Nice. Screen is nice too. But then I heard the speakers, and they left much to be desired, at least for me. Runs VERY hot. I read of SD cards failing. Fan isn't loud but it pumps out hot air. I really wanted to love it but I couldn't find the games it would make a big difference over my Samsung S8+. Battery life is dismal to say the best. Best part was dealing with Best Buy on the return. PAINLESS so happy. The got it back and my $$ back in my account the next day. Will buy here again.

Handheld gaming just got more better
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Running this on Windows 11 isn't as bad as everyone says. That said, I am looking forward to the SteamOS open beta as 99%+ of my PC gaming is done through Steam. The hardware is great on the Legion Go. I like that the screen is a bit larger than the Steam Deck, but it's not so large that it becomes uncomfortable for me. In fact I had a Steam Deck OLED a while back, and I prefer the larger scale of the Go. I already game with it tethered to power usually, so I can't really speak to battery life, but overall I've been very impressed with the performance of the Go.

Brilliant! I love it.
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Yep, this thing is great. Had this for about a week now and absolutely love the screen. Even though it's not oled, it really is the next best thing as a step down from oled. I find it comfortable to hold, and it's actually not nearly as heavy as I was expecting it to be. Having windows on it just opens the door for pretty much everything you'd like to do. You can play games through any sort of Game Launcher that you can think of and you don't have to jump through any hoops to get it to work. The performance is phenomenal. It boots up really fast and games load crazy quick as well. Gaming performance has also been great and exceeded expectations. If it is a less demanding 2D indie title, you can play at the full resolution of 1600p. For more demanding 3D games that have come out in the last few years or even older, you'll have to drop the resolution to 800p. But with integer scaling and AMD's sharpness tool, it looks fantastic. With those settings, everything plays very nicely at 60 frame rates, and I keep the system set to balanced mode which I believe tops out at 20 watts. I'll usually get a little bit over 2 hours of game play. Depending on how demanding the game is sometimes 2.5 hours, and if it's very easy to run, it'll be closer 3 hours. Cooling is excellent and I have not been bothered by the fan noise at all. Overall, I strongly recommend this device to anyone who is willing to work with a windows handheld and tweak some setiings to get if running nicely. I sold my steam deck LCD version so that I could get this guy, and I'm more than happy with it. Future buyers should definitely check out the unofficial LegionGo subreddit! Everyone there is great and very helpful for initial setup and can answer questions you should have!

Legion Go Windows 1TB
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It’s great! I have the windows version. Updates will be needed. You will spend some time finding the perfect settings to maximize battery life and performance but you can probably find stuff online for that to help. Can handle pretty much any game but the sims games you have to adjust the graphic settings. I mainly use Xbox game pass, remote play for PlayStation.
