Works well, great screen, very portable and easy to use. The only complaint I have is that the speakers on it are not really the best. Otherwise, great buy

Ever since purchasing this handheld, I haven't been able to put it down. To this day, I'm still playing it. Of course it has its ups and downs, I hate that it doesn't support the variable refresh rate, but, overall the 8.8 inch screen and (2560 x 1600) display is awesome!!! I would definitely recommend this device.

I had the pleasure of having Joy assist me with finding an open box Lenovo Legion Go and she made it one of the best in store experiences I’ve ever had. The Lenovo Legion Go was an open box item that was in perfect condition. The display is magnificent and it runs smoother than water. Ive been able to play Dragon Quest 11 with no issue and it runs flawless in performance mode as well as battery saver mode. Ive downloaded steam and ive been able to run almost any game without issue nor adjustment straight out of the box. The only issues ive experience so far is that removing the Joycons can be a little clunky and uncomfortable and the lenovo space hub isnt natural intuitive nor user friendly always. But outside of those 2 “issues”, this thing performs just as well as my HP Spectre if not better. I was lucky enough to get it at a great discount and its been worth every single penny and then some. Overall 5/5.

While I wouldn't replace my gaming PC for this, using this at work while on break alone has let me regain so much time and finish a bunch of games. Both more modern ones and emulated PS2 games. Highly recommend.

Spent a while looking through the handheld PCs and this one seemed like the best one. When I got I was surprised how well it could run games. I thought it would be impossible to run modded black ops 3 zombies or even black ops 6 zombies. Turns out it can run both and really well.

My favorite of the big 3 handheld devices. The screen is the best part but the entire device is built very well. No weird thumb stick clicks or rattles anywhere. I use this with Bazzite and have noticed that on Windows some games have severe frame time issues compared to Linux. Starfield specifically, has very bad stutters where you would need VRR, and on Bazzite it’s smooth as butter. Haven’t seen this being talked about but it deserves some investigation since that shouldn’t be the case. Anyways, if you ever thought you wanted a big screen but didn’t want to slap some controllers on a tablet this is the one to get.

This is basically a mini computer with a 8.8 screen. I actually like the fact that it's windows based because then I can be productive if I have to. attach it to another screen and boom, a working computer. The Legion GO is so packed with power for graphics of a game, I can run my Adobe Products for work like photoshop and illustrator and seems to work fine. It may seem like the biggest handheld, but it's packed with so much power other than gaming. THen when I want to play games, I can detach the controller and put it on the stand and i'm playing anywhere i virtually want!

As a Steam Deck OLED user as well, the Legion Go is the only other competitor in the handheld arena that provides bang for your buck and isn’t a pain to use. The ergonomics are not 100% there, but it is comfortable enough to hold and the detachable controllers are great. The only downside is lack of a truly mobile interface, as Windows can be a bit of a pain to navigate with the controls. Otherwise, I’ve clocked at least 400+ hours and have encountered few problems.

This system is way overhyped on the YouTube reviews. I think Retro Game Corps had a pretty honest review but many reviews seemed wowed by the giant screen and detachable controllers. The controls are terrible! They attach to the system in a very sturdy way but make for way too many buttons which aren’t active but you can’t help but click while playing the device. I wish they’d make a cheaper model with no detachable controllers. The software is horrible. Legion software makes no sense and really serves no purpose. Getting to the quick access menu requires you to run the full software package and even then- getting to the right hand side quick access menu isn’t easy. My system give me errors when it shuts down as well. The video drivers are old and while yes, you can work around to upgrade them- why should you have to? Also note- my SD card reader is defective as it looses track a card is installed. Also, the top usb port is defective as it only acknowledges charging less than half the time. The bottom port works fine. Lenovo tried to make the holiday rush with this device. I’m returning mine as this product isn’t very well thought out and isn’t ready for public consumption. Consider it beta.

This is my first handheld with Windows OS. I didn’t even get to play the first two days because it wouldn’t load COD correctly. I ended up having to update BIOS but there was no alert or pop up so I had to figure that out on my own. One controller light stopped working within 14 days so. I need to get it replaced. I recommend getting some kind of insurance…anyways I love the system and graphics and speed. Besides my deep hatred for Bill Gates, windows ain’t too bad either.

It's good, but it won't work as a high performance laptop or pc also, be aware of how fast the battery runs out. May experience fps drops, I like it, but you may want to use it for games that don't demand too much.

For <$500, it's SOLID, but the software is TRASH

For $500 (if you can get it at this price point), the hardware you get is INCREDIBLE. But be warned, Lenovo has proprietary driver software that is perpetually 6-12 months behind official drivers. There is currently no official Frame Gen support, so you have to go through this annoying process of DDU, install AMD's official drivers, and mess with Registry, but then that presents multiple issues: 1. You have to disable Windows updates, or it'll revert back to Lenovo drivers. 2. Legion Space and side panel settings may not work. 3. Performance may be hit or miss. 4. Games sometimes don't load. 5. I had to go through this process multiple times before it stuck. 6. You're wasting a lot of time doing this instead of just playing your games. You should buy this if: 1. You don't care about frame gen. 2. You don't care about having significantly outdated drivers. 3. You don't mind messing with things if you want updated drivers. 4. You are paying no more than $500. If Lenovo kept drivers up to date and had frame gen support, then this would be the best handheld at the $500 price point.
