Has worked great so far. Just like any gaming computer. download the necessary software and tinker to get the best performance. Battery does not last more than an hour during heavy game.usage is the only downside but it works as expected.

Hi, DanielC. Thank you for choosing Lenovo! Regarding the battery life, depending on the demand of the game you're playing - by pressing the Legion R button to launch the quick menu, you can switch to lower power mode to save battery. In the menu, under the performance tab, users can toggle thermal modes and prioritize battery life by using the default mode or creating a custom thermal mode should you not be satisfied with the 3 presets. These adjustments can also be made by going into Legion Space > Settings (Legion Space can be launched quickly by pressing the Legion L button (Legion Logo above the button). We are glad to know that your Legion Go is otherwise working great for you so far. We appreciate your time taken to share your experience and feedback with us. Lenovo

The legion go is by far the best alternative to a steam deck. The screen is beautiful, the battery life is great, and its very powerful. The legion software needs improvement, but lenovo has already been very responsive and pushed out updates. Better than the ally in every regard

Great device, very powerful. Screen is much much much nicer than the Switch. Battery life is decent, with tweaking can play AAA games performantly, and can play lots of indie and older games for an extended period of time with low energy mode

I got the handheld trio (steam deck, ally and Lenovo) And this is my favorite because of the improved batter performance and bigger screen Cons would be the weight, its kinda heavy being honest, but im strong man.

Great screen and display, a bit big and heavy for game playing. Software has improved since original launch, but still some bugs with Legion when loading games. Enjoy the large screen to read Kindle books and surfing the internet.

Not for “On the Go“; Slow FPS, Constant charging,

    Posted .

Handheld is a fun concept, but gimmick is overrated. Good: It has a gorgeous design, great build quality, and metal casing. However, Lots of problems with this gaming PC: -Power usage: <2hours of game play, means that it requires constant charging/plug-in. -Poor frame rate, <10fps while playing steam games -Lenovo wanted $180 to change SSD to try diagnostics of poor performance. -I always have to decrease the settings in order to get past battery/ slow fps -> It’s always set to low resolution and brightness. Legion go has greatly reduced performance on actual games, on comparison videos. Even with the similar specs and performance.(YouTube/Reddit) I have buyers remorse, and jealous of the other products on the market. I would NOT just look at numbers like screen size, and hardware. The software really limits speed, connectivity, and simplicity of downloading games/ using games. Steam games has poor performance, Xbox requires additional subscription, but functions, Epic has very slow performance.

I don't normally review products in 30 days because it doesn't give me enough time to fully experience the item. It's fine. It's great to use when my kid uses my computer and I get the sudden back to play a game. I don't like always being on computer so having this Legion Go is the best thing ever. I love that it was an open box and as a fair item it works like brand new. I love how a few of the employees were helpful and their experience using a Legion Go helped me accept taking the plunge into my first ever open box item.

Best handheld for the time. Only thing that could make it better would be bigger battery and 24gb of ram. But for the form factor it is the best. The screen resolution is good, and having a larger screen on a hand held is great. The colors really pop on this one. The ability to set it up on a counter or dash of a car and have the controllers in your hands is great. Really amazing and functional. This is a great little hand held. AMD is really paving the way.

I ordered mine online. After a lengthy setup (update drivers), which is recommeded, I installed a couple of games (RE2, RE3 & Halo). The games run smooth without frame drops. I love this machine and so should you. The screen on this is a beauty.

I think this is the perfect handheld. I think it’s better than a steam deck. It feels a bit more premium. The kickstand is awesome. I also would have to say that the controllers feel really nice. I would say, my only complaint is the kind of software package still needs a lot of work, and of course the biggest factor is they need to create a more slim version of windows for these kind of devices but that’s not Lenovo‘s fault having two USB-C ports is game changing in my opinion also, hey micro SD card slot that doesn’t burn out if it gets too hot. It does get a little warm, but no warmer than any other mobile device like this. The screen is absolutely amazing into me. That’s why it’s a winner because the screen size just can’t be matched. The screen. Quality is amazing and the fact that gets better thanks to updates and improvements, I would have to say if you’re looking for a mobile set up or handheld. This is as good as you’re going to find right now.

Excellent device you can use for gaming and unfinished business. Very valuable for gamer travelers. The downside is that it's heavy. The mouse would give wrist pain. The 512gb is just too small space . I hope they can make one that more ergonomic.
