Works exactly as it's described. No iled but the screen is still pretty clear and the device can handle games extremely well. Paired with my viture glasses and I can no game when on the go with a huge screen. Now I can play my backlogged catalog of games I hardly touch on my PC.

SteamOS on the Legion Go S is a killer combination that just feels right. Love it! I am a huge Lenovo fan and my gaming laptop is also a Lenovo legion. I love that they created a more powerful machine than the steam deck with steamOS added! I don’t really care that the screen isn’t oled, I have no issues with my screen at all, it looks great. I opened mine up and upgraded the internal storage to a Samsung PRO 990 -4TB. Yes, it’s a little overkill..BUT it’s amazing that it is compatible with a full size M.2! There is also room for a microSD slot, so plenty of room

Honestly, this device was insane — I loved every second of using it. Performance: The combination of SteamOS + 32GB RAM was the big kicker. Almost no stutters, no bloat, no silly Windows issues — just pure gaming joyousness. Experience: Smooth gameplay, responsive controls, and a streamlined OS that makes handheld gaming feel effortless. Why I Moved On: I only gave it up for the LEGOZ2E, which is awesome too, but the Legion Go S delivered an incredible run while I had it. Bottom line: if you want a handheld that feels purpose-built for gaming, the Legion Go S nails it.

Love the steam OS, feels great in the hand. Really powerful for a handheld for many games. AAA titles are playable on low plugged in with good frames. Easily handles many indie games.

Life changer for me. I game when im not working and the quality of life increase that i experienced with this ungluing me from my gaming PC was massive. Great quality, functionality and would recommend to anyone

Battery dies pretty quickly so you will be gaming with it connected to power. i like the touch screen for some games. feels like you get mouse level control without a mouse (helpful in menus) I like the bluetooth so i use my airpods alot. Runs Arc raiders fine on low settings, and other games look great. if you have headphones in, you won't hear the fan. I mostly use it when I want to game but I am not near my desk for travel or other reasons.

Amazing handheld, runs Harry Potter and Warhammer 40k seamlessly at 60 fps average which is amazing for a handheld imo, especially one with an OLED screen. Would reccomend a seperate battery if using on flights/long trips as the battery life leaves a bit to be desired.

If your vsieo library is mainly on steam, they has the closest thing to perfect lit there! Has a great screen, great ergonomics and just overall great feel to it. Only thing holding it back from being perfect would be the battery life. Outside of that, it is can run on steam OS, it runs excellent on here!

5 Stars. I upgraded from a Steam Deck OLED. First the device is well built, the hand grips are comfortable even for someone with smaller hands. The offset joysticks feel more like an XBOX controller than the Steam Decks even ones. The screen is awesome, no it's not OLED but the VRR on it really shines. The Z1E processor is a game changer, I am running games at 45-60 fps that I could not run on the Steam Deck. The triggers and button are well built, they work smooth with minimal noise. Lastly the buying experience was great. I initially purchased the Win 11 version on my BB card. I decided to change my mind and cancelled the order. Within 30 mins my card was refunded and when I bought the SteamOS version it was less expensive and the pickup date never changed. Pick up at the store was quick and easy too.

This does everything I was looking for & more. Beyond handheld gaming, the ability to run a regular desktop is a bonus. SteamOS runs great & while it doesn’t play EVERY game, it does play the majority of them very well. Battery life could be better, but it charges fast & you can easily play while on a charger or in a dock. Very happy with this purchase.

I mostly play beamng and euro truck sim on here, comparable to my slightly more expensive msi laptop depending on the game. Only downside is the fan is quite loud but the console doesn't get hot. Also note that certain games aren't very compatible and are almost unplayable but most are fine. Feels more ergonomic than you would expect!

This is my favorite console I’ve ever had. It runs way better than I expected, nice in the hands, the only flaw in an otherwise perfect product is the teeny tiny touch pad that’s inconveniently placed, but it’s an easy fix to turn it off!

This handheld PC takes the software streamlining from the Steam Deck, with hardware strong enough to play most games, if at low setting for many AAA titles. However, even on low settings, games look great on this device. I'd recommend buying one of these if you have the disposable income, or if you can catch it on sale.

Excellent device, wonderful ergonomics, fantastic screen. SteamOS is so much better for handheld gaming. The only blemish is the limitation on playing some popular multiplayer games like Call of Duty or Battlefield, but I pair this device with GeForceNow and can play all those games using low power mode and take advantage of the 120hz screen at high settings.

I purchased this gamin system with no hopes due to a lot of my games being very system intense. Well let me just tell you its probably the best gaming device i have ever purchased. It plays all my games with no lag and is fairly lightweight considering how big it is. I think it aits perfectly in your hands and the controls are very well made. I would 100% recommend this to my friends and family if they are wanting something a handheld gaming computer. It works just as good as my computer i spent over 2k on and now i play on this device all the time instead of my computer. I thought i was gonna regret it when i first purchased it, but If you have been thinking bout getting one buy it! You wont regret it.

For it being a handheld it runs everything pretty good and is really handy for when you travel and still wanna game, I’ve been really stuck on playing arc raiders and this makes it easy for me to catch up on everything even when I’m not home, there are things like battery life and the sound of the fan but it’s a handheld so it’s nothing that I wouldn’t expect.

I work in front of a PC and recently ive found myself playing less. I got this handheld to try out and ended up keeping it. Works well and is comfortable enough to hold. Battery life is a little short. If I wasnt able to get it at the black friday price i would have gotten a SD oled tho.

This has been great for all of my games so far. SteamOS is a must have for these handhelds. Only critique is the battery life can be a bit short if playing more demanding games but that is just part of all handheld devices. It charges super fast as well.
