Great device. Always loved steamOS. Glad to see it on a legion go S device. The screen looks gorgeous. But I would recommend pairing it with Z1 extreme as Z2 go is weak for a 1200p display, even with some indie games. Also, if you have small hands, be mindful, it’s too big! The weight is surprisingly very evenly distributed and well balanced, so you won’t feel it at all!

Honestly, I was a bit skeptical about the product because I had the first-generation Legion Go and ended up returning it—playing on Windows was terrible, and the controllers were awful for shooters. But I have to say, this product is completely different. The hardware feels like a huge upgrade, and with SteamOS, it's incredible—games run as if you're playing on a console, not a PC. I highly, highly recommend it. Plus, you can play on Xbox Cloud Gaming too.

Better than steam deck, very fast powerful and screen is nice

I love this thing. It's not the most powerful handheld on the market but it definitely gets the just done. Replacing Windows with SteamOS is just a bonus

Love this thing. Have to play with volume up as fans are busy working in high intensity games like God of War at max settings. Also careful to fully shut off prior to putting in case as mine turned on mid travel and extremely overheated as there was no air flow in the case

Lighter weight than I thought Initially. Battery life doesn’t last very long as expected when playing games like RDR2 and Cyber punk but otherwise does well. I’m surprised at the performance it’s really good for the price

Bought this before swapping out for the Z1E version and although this model is great , I wanted a little bit more performance out of it to make it future proof.

This is the perfect that i own. It is super fast and powerful, and with steam OS, it rocks. The screen is bigger than the ally x, and it is about the same price, and i love the controller. The triggers are adjustable, but the buttons are a little loud. This makes it hard to game in bed with a loved one next to me. I know there are talks the new z2 extreme launching this year, but they are just talks. I dont want to wait for a few months and then deal with the problems of a new chip. This is the perfect device and it is available now. I recommend it.

this was bought for me for christmas by my wife and i love it. the graphics on it are spot on and i can do everything that i can do on a computer with this.

The Legion Go S SteamOS Z2 Go version kinda makes this variant viable but it still falls short. It looks great and feels great in the hand except the shoudker and trigger buttons which are a bif weird feeling. SteamOS is kinda good on this but still has some issue and bugs on these other handhelds. But most improtantly the battery is still too small and mediocre in comparison to the Ally X as well as the Z2 Go performance being a little lackluster.

Great handheld gaming device for a beginner like me. The steam platform is awesome. My only complaint is the battery life for this device.

It's honestly a solid handheld but gets shadowed by the Z1E version. It isn't worlds apart but its noticeable enough for the price difference to be minimal, the Z1E is a better choice.

This is a gem. With steamOS everything runs bery smoothly and it plays ever game i uave tried. This includes very demanding games like bg3, hogwarts lagacy and kingdomcome deliverance 2.

Amazing handheld gaming system! Would definitely buy again. Battery life is about 2 hours at full charge so keep that in mind when taking it on the road.

I picked this up at a great price, and it has been working wonderfully. Do yourself a favor and grab a large sd card to give yourself more memory for storage.

It's comfortable, it can play some pretty good games and, it's just good to take when traveling

Feels great to play, ergonomics and screen is amazing. Just regret not getting the higher end model.

I'll admit I haven't put this thing through it's paces but if your a little bit more than than a casual gamer, this is a great addition to your gaming arsenal. I've had not issues playing anything, including a few AAA games. I can play just about every thing for about 2 hours unplugged and I couldn't have asked for much more. It's a solid setup out of the box and the community as a whole is helpful if you don't quite understand the ways of steam os. Just a great purchase.

Im really loving the console. From the form facotr to the 8in screen everything about it is amazing. The only reason im giving it 4 stars is because when it arrived, the menu button was broken. Couldnt press down on it at all. Other than that overall reallt amazing device.

I actually love it i just wish the battery life was better but that problem will happen with all pc handhelds because it’s literally a pc
