This is going to be a review for Lego Batman 3: Beyond Gotham for the WII U. This game is the perfect mixture of action and puzzle. Unlike earlier Lego games the puzzles are challenging enough to be fun, but not simple enough that they would frustrate an adult. This video game not only has 15 levels, there is a bonus level which is a tribute to the 1966 television series. The design of the levels are fun, and really plays a tribute to the rich comic history of Detective Comics. This being the third Lego game in the series, the character selection doesn’t feel repetitive or stale. Pros: -Outside of story mode, there is an entire world to explore including the bonus 1966 television series level, The Batcave, The Hall of Justice, The Legion of Doom headquarters, and The Watchtower. -It is easier to explore levels with the ability to switch character costumes with the push of a button. -Each level has enough new activities that this title doesn’t become boring and repetitive. - When playing on the Wii U in two player mode player one can play while viewing the touch-pad screen, while player 2 can play while viewing the television. No longer have to play in 2 player mode with a split screen. Con: - This game has too many glitches. During the 15- Level story I experienced about 4 glitches, all which caused me to have to replay the level and loss the level progress.

We've owned a ton of Lego games, and I'd say that the original Lego Star Wars for Wii is one of my favorites. I love playing Lego games with my son in 2-player co-op mode. I also like the Lego Batman series, which seems to be a regular test-bed for new gameplay ideas in the Lego franchise. This is a fun game and follows the usual Lego formula with a few new twists. However, we found ourselves getting stuck more than usual on some of the puzzles. I think that was mostly due to unfamiliarity with the underlying narrative story. Still, if you like Lego games, you'll probably enjoy this one. I should add that the Wii U version is a bit of a letdown. The graphics are rough at times, there are plenty of odd glitches (characters can get stuck between a wall and some other object), and the game suffers from significant frame rate drops in 2-player mode. The dips can make it nearly unplayable. Clearly a LAZY effort as most of my Wii U games have outstanding graphics and run smoothly at 60 frames per second. Add in the fact that Wii U owners didn't get the DLC that other consoles received and you realize that Lego/Tt Games didn't care much about the Wii U version of this game.

Admittedly not too far into the game but am enjoying it a great deal already. It plays as you would expect a lego game to play, but I think the formula has been refined and almost perfected by now. As usual, a ton of character choices, and overall the game does the characters justice, with tongue firmly in cheek. Only docking this game 1 star because of the lack of DLC. Warner Bros. may put some of it out for the Wii U, may not, I guess time will tell.

The only downside of this version of the game is that there is no promised DLC compared to the PS3, 360, PS4, and Xbox One versions. It plays exactly the same as the others, though less action on the screen. Game content is great because it has so many DC characters you might know or might not even know existed. Recommend this to anyone who loves DC or Lego games.

The LEGO Batman series continues to build, and the third entry adds a lot. Many celebrity cameos like Adam West, Conan O'Brien, and Kevin Smith were a pleasant surprise. My only issue with the game is the Wii U version, which I purchased, does not and apparently won't have the additional dlc levels that other platforms received.

As a lover of Lego games, including for the Wii, I enjoy this one. My daughter (she's 4 yrs old) likes to watch me play the game - so it makes it a great bonding time thing for us. I gave it 4 starts because I have a firm belief that all games can be improved (I have yet to play a "perfect" game that needed no improvements).

I bought this game on clearance from the local Best Buy, and couldn't be happier with the purchase. This is one of the better Lego games I've played, and I own most of them. I think the last level in this particular title is worth playing through this game, especially for the most die hard Batman fans.

Protip: Only buy first party Wii U games, 3rd parties don't care. Play this on XBOX ONE or PS4 and you will get a hi-res, fun game - this runs land looks terrible on the Wii U and you know if you have played Mario Kart 8 or Bayonetta 2, that the console is capable of running something as simple as this game.

This is a fun game because of the many characters you get to be. Plus the lego aspect is always fun. There are some frustrating places you get stuck because there are no directions and it becomes more of a scavenger hunt. So younger kids could lose interest. Working as a team or family helps though.

Even though the game is over a year old, my kids play it like it just came out. There are so many characters to play as. My kids enjoy playing with the Flash and Martian Manhunter. The game is similar to the other Lego Batman games, but this one easily has the most characters.

We bought this game for my 6 year old. The Lego games in general are great for younger audiences. It's easy enough for him to play and figure out most of the puzzles. We still help him read most of it, but I recommend for any age 6 and up.

I bought this game for my kids (9 and 10) and they love it. It is fun, not too difficult and resonates with their physical Lego toys so they can replicate the game situations for real. The game is well made, has a good pace and is not frustrating for them. I would recommend.

You should know the drill by now. You're typical lego game. Has the standard two player local co op and pretty much follows every other Lego formula. If you like the lego series and especially the previous two batman lego games, you'll enjoy this one too.

I own Lego Batman 1 as well as Lego Batman 2, and the 3rd edition to the series does not disappoint. The dialogue is still cheesy at times, but the graphics have improved and so have the suits. This is a must have for any Lego videogame or Batman fan.

My son loved the Lego Marvel game. If you have played that one then you know exactly what you are getting into. This one is just as fun for the kids, just as polished and just as funny for the adult comic geek who is playing with their children.

The game is fun and easy to play. My six year old has no problems solving the games puzzles and the kid friendly nature of the Lego games is great for his age. I would recommend this for younger gamers.

While I love the Lego games I am not sure what I was expecting from this one- I haven't played it much yet but so far it feels like the same old batman stuff from the first two. I recommend this one if you really, really liked the other two.

The overall Lego concept remains and is nice, but this game is a bit darker than some of their others and there seems to be longer on each episode. Overall good but it may not keep the attention of youngsters like the other Lego games.

We are big fans of Wii and Lego. This was a no brained. My only qualms with it is more general. I wish the Levi games were more than two players. That aside, the storyline is good. And the effects are what you would expect.
