Very intuitive and easy to put together

He's starting to learn and explore his surroundings more and putting things together is starting to appeal to him. He watched, impatiently as I assembled the garbage truck, the dumpster and the Lego figures. He loves playing with them and assigning them tasks. This set is perfect despite the age recommendation on the box. If they no-longer put things in their mouth, there is no reason this toy can't be enjoyed by a toddler with supervision.

Perfect for a 3.5-year-old!

He has been building things (mostly cars and trains and sometimes imaginary things) using both DUPLO and Classic. I got him this set because I wanted him to learn how to follow simple instructions. The set doesn't have too many steps, which is perfect and very age appropriate for my son.

I think these are no longer restocked at Best Buy so I'd recommend you grab it if your see it. Nicely complements our other Lego City sets. Quality product as expected from Lego.

Good small LEGO set

He is very pleased with it. It was not a hard set for a 4.5 year old to build. Yet it was challenging enough to take some time. Now he will play with it for endless hours.

Cute little garbage truck

Since she could crawl, she'd look out the window on the mornings when the garbage truck comes by to pickup the trash. Now thanks to Lego, she can have her own garbage truck!

It’s a nice, simple set for a young child. It looks nice and isn’t too complicated.
