I was way late to this one! I really should’ve bought this game when it came out! It’s fun, funny, and exciting! It’s pretty much GTA but family friendly and in LEGO form. Some of the puzzles can be a little tricky, but it usually doesn’t take long to figure out. Highly recommend this game!!!

This game is a lot of fun. It's basically Lego Grand Theft Auto. You play as a police officer who is trying to put away a crime boss. There are ton of things to unlock including lots of disguises which provide different abilities, all of which are useful in solving puzzles. If you like the humor in Lego games, and do not have this for any other console, the Switch version is a home run.

It's pretty fun it feels like gta but a more kid friendly version. The humor is pretty funny and its pretty fun overall. It is a more simplified gta. If I want to play something complex I'll play gta but if I just want to have a chill game sesh I'll play this game. I don't think it's worth $50 or $60 but $20 or $30 is a good deal, wait for it to go on sale, I got it for $20.

My kids love this game. Had it for their older Nintendo and had to buy it for the switch since they would still fight over who got to play the older Nintendo. I don’t play games a lot but I enjoy this one when they ask me to play.

I feel that it is a bit wrong to charge more just because this is a switch remake. The game has been out for a long time on other consoles. But other than that this is a great game for kids and adults. Lego meets grand theft auto but safe for kids. Lots of fun.

I picked up this game for a variety of reasons, although I own it for the Wii U. I chose this version because it comes with all the dlc, which I did not purchase for Wii U, extra tracks, characters, and so on. Besides all those added bonuses and a graphically superior version, I wanted something my 3 year old daughter could play with me. It has handicaps to keep the acceleration on and something so her character never falls off the track. It was the perfect scenario for me and her because all she needs to do is steer the kart, because of that I also bought the steering wheels and turned on motion control for her to make it easier. The purchase met my wants and now my daughter is addicted. I highly recommend it!

This game is a great open world Lego game in the style of GTA. This is just a re-release of the original Wii U game. The Wii U version is pretty cheap so I'd wait for a price drop on this one before you buy.. Having this game on a portable system is great.

This is a very well put together open world GTA style clone. The gameplay is fun, story is funny, and music and effects are appropriate. This is easily one of the best Lego games and a must have purchase, especially for kids.

After finishing Zelda on the Switch, I needed another open world game to get into. Due to a lack of options at this point of the Switch's life, Lego City Undercover was the only choice. I have never played Lego games, due to their 'childish' appearance. I took a chance with Lego City Undercover and breathed a sigh of relief after firing up the game and playing for a few hours. While the game is nowhere near the depth and complexity of Zelda, it is surprisingly fun. While it does exude 'childish' qualities, it does so in an endearing and engaging way, even for older players. I cannot say this game is for everyone, but if you have an open mind and enjoy many of the Nintendo offerings that are geared to all generations of players, then give Lego City Undercover a chance. You may grow to enjoy it as I have!

If you like the Lego brand of games, this will not disappoint. Classic Lego game controls, humor and mission based gameplay while including the open-world aspect of earlier Lego games as Marvel Superheroes 1. Only negative is this is essentially the same game as previously released on the Wii U

I don't normally care for Lego games but decided to get this one. I'm glad I did. The graphics are good and there are plenty of missions. This game plays a little like Grand Theft Auto and it is funny! Fun game!

This is a fun game to play with a friend. Although, I have to admit I get pretty upset sometimes when I can't figure out what to do or know what I need to do but can't seem to do it. I've been stuck in the same area in quite some time.

The most surprising thing about the game is how funny it can be. The gameplay is standard Lego game fare, but the open world gives it a fun twist. The characters really carry the game. I like the Switch version because I can play on the go.

I'm in my 30's. This game is definitely made someone a little younger in terms of difficulty. The game itself is pretty straightfoward. I do like the subtle humor in it. there are some points where the game doesn't do the correct actions.

Loads of fun and humor. It has the lego humor from the movies and a fun story line. Plenty to do in the open world even after the game has been beaten. Highly recommend it.

Lego City Undercover is a pretty good open world game for the Nintendo Switch for kids. I haven't played it too far, but it features costumes for different skills and ability to drive various vehicles around the city. It's been compared to GTA, and that's a pretty good description as it's story driven open world game with vehicles. Compared to the first-party Nintendo Switch games, this game feels a bit sluggish as it runs at 30 fps (or less when there's a bunch of action going on). Story line is full of cop parodies and jokes, so entertaining for kids and adults. It's a good game to play around with family to watch and to take turns (up to two players at a time!) and the non-playing family can enjoy the comedy.
