Lego City Undercover is a pretty good open world game for the Nintendo Switch for kids. I haven't played it too far, but it features costumes for different skills and ability to drive various vehicles around the city. It's been compared to GTA, and that's a pretty good description as it's story driven open world game with vehicles. Compared to the first-party Nintendo Switch games, this game feels a bit sluggish as it runs at 30 fps (or less when there's a bunch of action going on). Story line is full of cop parodies and jokes, so entertaining for kids and adults. It's a good game to play around with family to watch and to take turns (up to two players at a time!) and the non-playing family can enjoy the comedy.

Lego City Undercover is a very good game. The gameplay is a lot of fun, the graphics are great and the jokes are hilarious. My kids love this huge open world Lego game.

It's a great game at its core. It has many funny moments and a good plot. There are lots of playable hours. But the problem I have with the game is the switch doesn't have the power to run it smoothly. Basically the entire game has tons of frame drops. No matter what you are doing you have frame pacing and dropping issues. The graphics are not that insane to make it drop that way in my mind. I mean look at breath of the wild, it runs almost perfect. Overall it's a fun and entertaining experience. But I'm not sure I'd recommend buying it for the switch knowing what I know now.

I missed out on this when it came out on the Wii U. But I'm glad I waited. The Switch version looks and runs better. But it still has the same sense of humor most lego games (and movies) have.

If you or someone you know is a Lego fan, they will not be disappointed. All of the humor and fun is packed into this game.

This is another classic LEGO game that is kid friendly and easy to play and relate to. Been able to play with my kids and is enjoyable.

Liked the game play and graphics more than the 3DS version. Can't go wrong with Lego games in general. Storyline can be slow at times but overall good fun for all ages

My kids have this game on the wiiu,fun open world game.we decided to buy it on the Nintendo switch so they could play it on the go.

Another great Lego title! Recommended for families & multi user play. It does require two full controllers for multiplayer

As the switch line up of games slowly ramps up, there have been games that have been released on other systems that beg to be portable. This is one such game. Early reviews say this game was very buggy and had frame rate issues, but time since its release along side a few patches has served this game well. Incredible such a big game can be contained on such a tiny switch cartridge, but everything is in tact and it's beautiful running in both portable and docked modes. It's GTA with legos. A must have if you own a switch.

I loved the original Wii U version of LEGO City Undercover. This Switch port is a bit sloppily done. The game has crashed on me on several occasions (though sizable game progress is never lost due to the game's regular auto-saving), and audio glitches have caused the music and voice work to stop playing (I believe this is caused from using Sleep Mode). Still, I love exploring LEGO City in handheld mode while watching TV or having music on in the background. Docked mode (where you play on the TV screen, for instance) provides greater performance. I like this game with the Switch version, but the port could have been a better product.

Game is great on the Go, and as well as snapping into the dock and playing it on the big Screen. Only down side is the load times.

This is a solid open world game on a great system. You can take it with you anywhere! Do you like LEGO? Do you like open world games? Do you have a brain? Get it!

If you like open world games and you have kids, this is for you because you can’t play GTA in front of the kids.

This is a great title to keep us held over until Splatoon 2. I haven't played a lot of LEGO games, but I can tell you that I've had a lot of fun with this one. There's a lot to do, it's cute, and it's just pure fun. It's also a good family game to play with your kids with co-op. You can run around completing missions while they follow you and smash stuff or whatever. Definitely worth the purchase.

Great game, long load times. It's pretty funny, it's like GTA but with legos. For me, the fun faded fast however. Others will love it. Little kids will love it.

This game is fun for your kid, it’ll keep them occupied and it’s not that stressful or difficult for them to play with. It’s also fun if you play 2 players and play with them.

My son loves the game. Good graphics. He has every lego game that has came out for xbox 360 xbox one and the switch

Tons of fun have been had with this game. My son loves playing it anywhere with his switch and playing it like Minecraft.

The game is a very fun, open-world, action packed LEGO adventure title, with loads of humor and charm... and lots of secrets and things to collect!
