Lego City on the Wii U was already my favorite Lego Game. It gave you a huge city full of activities and had some pretty funny writing to keep the story going. The one flaw with the game was that it didn't have multiplayer. That has been fixed and the game now has drop in/drop out co-op. Great game got better!

This game was originally made for the WiiU, and it shows. It drops framerate a lot, especially on split-screen mode. The game runs better on what it was originally made for which is the WiiU. However, the story and gameplay are the same as all other Lego games except this has an open world. Kind of like a GTA style lego. It's a fun game.

The game gets off to a slow start, but once you get to about the third "chapter," things become much more enjoyable. The humor is lighthearted goofiness that makes the Lego games so popular, and exploring the city to track down all the pieces for side quests is great. It's refreshing to have a unique story from Lego instead of one that follows a pre-determined movie plot.

Undercover is basically a Lego version of GTA and is one of the best in the series. It's fun to run around the series and explore the city looking for trinkets and secrets. However, the game runs horribly on the Switch and has crashed on me multiple times. The game ran fine on Wii U, so it's unknown why the Switch port is so shoddy.

I have a love/hate relationship with LEGO games. Most of the times I get disappointing by them, however it was not the case with this one. I found it to be extremely entertaining and easy to get into. I love playing it in the Switch and I am aware of its problems (long load times, etc.), but I don't think they have reduced my enjoyment of it. Lots of fun!

I never owned a WiiU, and with this being a WiiU exclusive I never played this game until now. I thought a kid friendly GTA (more accurately True Crime but no one knows what that is anymore) sounded like an odd concept! But has become one of the best couch co-op experiences since Castle Crashers!

Lego city: Undercover,
This game was purchased for first time Nintendo Switch users, they found it to be an exciting near open world format. With fun mini games, and puzzles allowing for a multitude of gameplay options. Most gratifying is building of lego objects and buildings.

For the record, I waited for this game to be below $20 since I have a pile of games I haven't finished. Now that I've played it, I'm glad I purchased it. Like most Lego games, it doesn't take itself seriously and it isn't difficult. Just pure fun.

Great game and very glad to see it ported to other platforms. The years since the Wii U release have not affected the gameplay much as it is still as good now as it was then.
Only gripe is some noticeable framerate issues on the Switch when undocked. Hopefully a patch in the near future will address those issues.

Overall an enjoyable Lego openworld game with a good sense of humor and a lot of content that kids and adults can enjoy. The portability on the Switch version and addition of co-op is nice if you will take advantage of those features, but being a four year old updated game I wouldn't recommend buying at full price.

This game is great given the circumstances of the Switch lacking open world games. On it's own, it's a goodie, but considering it's on the Switch it's much better. The game has good humour and reminds me a lot of Saints Row 2 with it's settings.

I needed/wanted a new came to play while i waited in the hospital for family. I'm a huge Lego fan, and this looked like a really fun one for the Switch. Really a fun little game. Lots of adventures to do. You can game play of course, and also go out on your own and do some little/side "missions".

This is a port of the game that originally released exclusively on Wii U. Really fun game, as most LEGO games are. Pick this up if you see it on sale, because it’s definitely not worth a “new” game price, especially considering that the Nintendo Selects Edition for Wii U can be had for $19.99.
