If you like LEGO games you can discover now one of the most original entries, but it feels like a missed opportunity to fix its performance issues and add more relevant content, particularly as a full-price release.

Great game! My kids got it and are thoroughly enjoying it. They love the adventure especially since it’s police themed. Plus, being Lego makes it supercool!

You get to explore an open world filled with Lego! It's basically Lego GTA! The two player co-op split screen mode is fun, but the FPS takes a pretty bad hit. Overall, a good game to pick up at a discount!

I originally purchased this game for my WiiU, but loved it so much that when they released it for Switch, I picked it up again! It's great to have a portable version of this game - I really enjoy it!

This is the best non licensed Lego game I’ve played. Imagine GTA but set in the Lego universe. Tons of open world fun. Don’t pass this game up.

If you like a lot of story in your open-world games, Lego City Undercover is for you. Then again, you don't have to follow the story every time it shows up. There is a lot of freedom to explore. Just have different expectations if you're coming off of Zelda.

This is like a pg version of the gta series of games. You play as the cop trying to catch the bad guy. It’s pretty much an open world and you can fight, chase, and destroy all you want.

I wish all Lego games would make original stories. It beats the movie based story lines any day with a good balance of adventure and humor. I love this game so much we picked it up for the ps4 as well.

My 11 year old daughter got this game and has loved it. Spent many hours playing over multiple days - and having friends play with her. Probably her favorite game so far!

I bought the game for my 12 years old and she like it a lot. I tried it as well after watched her play few times. It is actually a fun and interesting game. We both finished the game but of course my daughter beat me and finished it first.

I’m a huge fan of all LEGO games. They are entertaining and all the silly jokes said on the side make me laugh. I’m super happy with this purchase. I would definitely recommend this game to anyone.

It's basically the Lego take on a GTA game. Good humor for kids and adults and easy challenges that will not turn off kids. The only complaint I would have is that at times it seems the humor is a bit "try hard".

Finally took it upon myself to play this game after ignoring it for the Wii U for so long. It's another entry in the LEGO series of games by developer Traveler's Tales or TT Games.
The main plot revolves around Chase McClain, a cop who has recently returned to Lego City to recapture an escaped criminal mastermind. You will progress through 16 different missions on this task. There are various costumes you will find that will allow Chase to get past certain obstacles. The city is pretty much open to exploration when you aren't actively progressing through the story.
Performance wise, the Switch version is an obvious upgrade over the Wii U version in visuals, although it could use better optimization to better take advantage of the hardware. Handheld mode for this game isn't very great but it's still playable.

I have been a fan of all Lego games, but it's awesome to finally have a Lego series with an original story. It's a typical Lego game with the same humor, just in a massive open world setting.

It’s a fairly standard LEGO game, just like the classic movie LEGO games. This time it has a unique story and it’s still funny and just fun to sit down and play. Highly recommended
