We had introduced our young son to Lego very early on with the Duplo blocks. However, we noticed that a lot of the Lego we were buying were sets that made something, instead of those that asked the builder to be creative. This set has a lot of nice pieces to get started and an ideas book showing how to make the monsters on the box. A great way to inspire! We love them!
