I thought that he would take awhile to get this one done. Within two weeks, he sent me a picture of it already done. He said he enjoyed it and it wasn’t hard at all.

The build itself is pretty intriguing resulting in a sturdy structure that (of course) spins on the Earth’s axis. Aesthetically speaking, it looks fantastic. This is definitely a set for a niche set of people and I can’t believe that I have to say this - it is not a replacement for an actual globe. Given that while it is quite pricey, it is worth the price.

He loves Lego's but has outgrown the ones for younger kids, so loving geography, this gift was perfect. It took him a couple of days to finish it. Only bad thing is that some parts got repetitive when building the globe's core. It's beautiful and now displayed in his room.

Do better Best Buy. please.
