He loved it and assembled it within a day or so. I thought it was the coolest thing and would want one for myself if I still kept Legos around. I liked that it came with multiple buildable elements (skull & footprint) and the plaque. Makes for a fun experience and an impressive display piece when it's done.

The footprint and plaque give the base some depth, and there's clever use of sloped elements to build those curves. The skull itself is a good size, and feels sturdy. Just keep it away from tiny hands - its a display piece, not a playset!

Reminds me of getting kits as a kid and I love that it's designed to be displayed. Building it on stream and having so much fun with it. It's great quality. Maybe overpriced, but that's how legos have always been.
