He was able to figure most of it out even though it's above his age level. He plays with me (his mom) or his Dad). We bought this one as a gift for another child (he's 5) and he loves it as well. He does not get angry with this game like he does with some of the newer Mario games.

My son LOvES his switch and loves all of the games! You really can’t go wrong with this games either! It’s got all the best things a little gamer loves!
