A Follow-Up to the Amazing Marvel Super Heroes

The first LEGO Marvel Super Heroes is hands down one of the best LEGO games out there and is honestly probably the best Marvel superhero game outside of maybe Spiderman 2. This game has some minor changes compared to the first such as the removal of the X-Men and Fantastic Four. This is sorely disappointing. This game's cast is weaker than the previous one's. WHY? I don't get this. The problem must have been a licensing issue. Otherwise I don't really get this decision. Outside of that, this game is very similar to the first one. Overall, this is still a LEGO style game which are largely good quality, usually A to AA level quality games that are good for the whole family. If you are a Marvel or superhero fan, you will enjoy this game. If you played the first one, some of the changes may be a tad disappointing to you but you should enjoy this game nonetheless.

I loved the original Lego Marvel game. It was simple and yet had the feel of a sandbox game. It seems though that since the original Lego Marvel Superheroes every Lego iteration video game has to have more characters and the gameplay becomes more complex. I do not see the need to create a game that has almost 200 optional characters when you will only need to use a dozen to beat the missions. In addition, having a huge open world that is not centralized is confusing and just lazy work on the developer's end. Overall, it isn't horrible but it is getting ridiculous.

My son enjoys the game. It is a typically lego ps3/ps4 game. You go around schwacking things made of legos looking for clues and points. All of the lego games appear to be the same formula, just with a different story or movie theme. For me, I don't care too much to play, but for a early teenager, he enjoys it. He had these lego games when he was 9/10/11 and enjoyed them more. He got through this current game in 1-2 hours. But he resets the game and starts over when friends come over.

First, the Lego world in this game is huge. There are so many places to go and things to do it’s astonishing. The problem I have is that unlike most Lego games where you adventure through and complete puzzles along the way, this one is mostly fights that end in a “boss “ fight, most of which is hard to even see where you are at on the screen. Rinse and repeat. Again, I love Lego games but this one is not my favorite. Sorry Lego. Only recommend to a friend for the experience.

Lego Harry Potter's gameplay is similar to that of most previous Lego video games, with an emphasis on collecting, exploring, and solving puzzles. Casting spells is an integral part of the gameplay, with a wide range of spells available for unlocking as the player progresses. As there are many spells available in the game, the player can use the spell wheel to select the spell. Potion-making is another integral feature; potions can help the player complete levels or, if created incorrectly, have adverse side effects

This game is so much fun. There are a lot of characters that can be found and played, and several cities to visit. There are challenges, to keep you busy, missions to complete, and several levels that can be played and then replaced in free play mode, along with Gwenpol missions. This game will keep you playing for a long time. As a serious gamer, I always appreciate a game that has length to it and is not easily beaten in 2 to three days. I always look forward to Lego games, and this one will not disappoint.

Same fun and quirky game play we've come to expect from the Lego games. I like the inclusion of some of the less known Marvel heroes and villains, but in my opinion, the story isn't as interesting as Marvel Super Heroes 1 or Avengers. Over-world map is pretty cool, featuring some different time periods to explore like Ancient Egypt, Medieval England and Manhattan Noir.

My Son who is 8 years old has enjoyed playing this game since he got it. There is much more to it than the first one and it is quite a bit different than the first one as well. There are new playable characters and seems to be more of a challenge than the first. The layout seems more geared towards a “comic book layout” which is a nice change as well. We got an amazing deal on this game, far better than other retailers. A great LEGO game for kids and adults alike!

All the Lego video games are a sure thing to add to your collection. Great graphics and fun to play. One of the nice things with all the Lego games is that they are designed for two players or online as opposed to most of the PS4 games are primarily one player and on-line, kind of frustrating there a limited 2 player games.

If you enjoyed the first game, the second is a great addition to your library. There are a lot of very fun characters that have been added. I will say that for younger kids (6 and under), it can be difficult to play because it may be harder to understand mission objectives or a way to figure out specific levels. There will be parental help that's needed to fully enjoy the game.

Personally, I did not jump on the Lego game bandwagon when they first started coming out. As a matter of fact, my Indiana Jones Lego game for 360 went unplayed for a long time. Over the years though, my opinion has changed, and let me tell you, I've been having a blast since! Heck, I've been thoroughly engrossed in this game and almost have it 100%. Go ahead, give a Lego game a try, it will be hard to disappoint!

I play these LEGO games with my 6 year old. He loves them so I buy them, but they are also entertaining for me as well. This one is just as good if not better than previous LEGO Marvel iterations. One thing I do not like is the Character Map. It's very hard to look at, I feel like it's an optical illusion or Where's Waldo. But other than that awesome game!

So far put about an hour into this. It's a typical Lego game, sticks to the basic formula. If you're looking to expose a younger generation to the marvel franchise this is the perfect format to do so. The amount of characters in this game is insane. There are many many many hours of hilarious fun to be had in this game.

I have been waiting for a true sequel to the first Lego Marvel Superheroes game and it's finally here. A lot of the things I loved in the first are in this one. Really interesting story. A little disappointed the X-Men didn't show up but it gives a lot of lesser known characters a chance to shine. Nothing is ever better than the original but this one comes close.

These Lego games keep getting better and better and so far Lego Marvel has to be my favorite game in the Lego collection they have thought of everything not only is this game open world but it has so many side missions that you will be playing this game for many many hours to come and I also find the humor in the game to be very entertaining as well.

My kids always get these Lego games as soon as they come out. Seems like they are getting more and more complicated. The first few were straightforward and fun. My kids still have fun playing them, but find that if I don't play with them as soon as they start getting into the game I can never catch up with them.

This goes down as another great lego game. They did switch up the way the screen works you can no longer be close together and have it turn into one big screen it stays split screen with two players no matter what, this was a little disappointing but either way still a great game. Lots of fun with the kid.

Lack of dynamic split screen makes co-op annoying sometimes, Ran into a few buggy quests. The quests are repetitive and there are a TON. Gwenpool is HORRIBLE, even an 8yo would hate her dialogue. Overall though, it IS a Lego game but I'd only play it co-op.

I love Lego games. There is a certain satisfaction you get from being able to smash everything in sight and get rewarded for it. The game is not overly difficult to play nor simplified. This brand continues to release great games for all ages.
