a lego super hero game

Entertaining but time consuming

It was challenging for myself and my 5 year old son to figure out what to do in story mode. Being stuck in the same little area, looking for what to do next to unlock the next area was frustrating. Because of that I docked a star to 4 stars.

Terrible save system only works part time.

The game plays fine until it is turned off, even after being saved. Downloading the game to the system instead of the SD card helps – hopefully. However, the game does have good graphics with smooth frame rate. Even in co-op the game runs smooth with few instances where it gets a little choppy. Even still, all progress made consistently comes to a grinding halt when the game is turned off; as though the developers believed consumers enjoy taking ‘two steps forward, one step back’.

Son loves this game

He enjoys the characters... it’s kind of a role play type game where they unlock stuff as they go through the levels.

Another great addition to the lego library

There is a ton of content here and is able to solve most of the puzzles himself. He does need help occasionally but I enjoy it as well.
