This is a great portable Lego game for the Nintendo Switch where you don't need to worry about being limited to needing internet because of trophies or achievements unlike the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One Editions and the controls are very easy for the game too. 5 stars for the game. That being said, I know that the movie this video game was based on had a Blu-Ray 3D release here on the Best Buy website and that it was pulled from their website WITHOUT any warning to anyone. And until I see The Lego Ninjago Movie 3D+Blu-Ray+DigitalHDUV appear on the Best Buy website (and it HAS TO BE the Best Buy website) and remain on the Best Buy website WITHOUT getting removed, I will not be buying anything else that is Lego Ninjago including any sequels to this game that come out (and that includes all versions of The Lego Ninjago Movie that are coming tomorrow.) #NoUS3DBluRayForTheLegoNinjaGoMovieNoPurchaseAndNoPreOrder #BringBackTheUSBluRay3DOfTheLegoNinjagoMovieToYourStoresAndYourWebsite

I didn't think I would enjoy Lego Ninjago The Movie Videogame as much as I did, seeing as how I'm usually skeptical of movie tie-ins, but I really like this game! It was nice to be able to use two single Joy-con controllers for Co-op after not being able to for Lego City Undercover. The graphics are very detailed and bright, and they incorporated the stop-motion animated look of the recent Lego movie and Ninjago movies for the cutscenes whish was a nice touch. The action was fast paced and fun, especially the shooter segments where you get to control the Ninjago vehicles. I would have liked some online multiplayer, but it's no deal breaker. This is probably one of my favorite Lego titles in recent years, at least until the release of Lego Marvel Superheroes 2!

This game is good for Ninjago fans. I've only played multiplayer with my son and the frame rate is pretty bad. It's playable but it's not smooth. The gameplay itself is pretty similar to other Lego games except for the fighting and level traversal mechanics which are what makes this game stand out. The load times are pretty long for a Switch game, a little over a minute. Luckily, it only happens when entering a hub. The length of the game is on the short side but there's some replayability, ex. unlocking characters and alternate outfits. If you have a huge fan of Ninjago, it's worth considering this game as long as you can tolerate low fps.

My kids and I have only played for a couple hours so far (Roblox and Splatoon 2 take up most of our gaming time right now) but this game is your typical Lego game. Fun local coop with a Ninjago skin. I've been playing Lego games since the star wars games. The only reason I took a star off on my review is that Lego games are not memorable gaming experiences. They are not deep games and they also have minor glitches. That being said, of you want to play a game with your kids, this will be tons of fun. A good laugh will be enjoyed by all too.

    LEGO Ninjago Movie Video Game

LEGO games are typically quite good. Movie franchise games are typically quite bad. The LEGO Ninjago Movie Video Game is, both, but ultimately it feels more like a movie game than a LEGO game. Poor level design, long load times and bugs make for a game that doesn't realize its full potential; funny dialogue and entertaining movie clips can't elevate this one to greatness. If you're looking for a great LEGO game for your Switch, stick to Undercover for now.

Most of the Lego games are the exact same, but this one breaks the mold a bit. There are more complex combat moves for the heroes, the vehicle segments are much more interesting, and even the block collecting works a bit different. Overall it's my son's favorite Lego game of the three we have for the Switch. My only complaints are a) they don't use the same voice actors as the movie, and b) the game seems to be quite short. Otherwise a solid title

This is pretty much like all other Lego games, except it's based off of a film. The voice actors aren't the same as the film (of course), but I don't think many young players are going to notice or care. I would probably recommend the PS4 or Xbox version over the Switch. Several levels show a significant drop in frame rate, so the game looks and feels choppy. Still fun though, especially for kids.

Fun game. It is typical lego fare but the gameplay is much faster and smoother than most lego games. Switch version does have some frame rate issues, but the portability is great. If you want slightly better graphics and stability go with the ps4/xbox version. It feels and looks great on the Switch though, it just has slightly less graphical fidelity. Feels right at home on the Switch!

I love the game however it was not purchased for my enjoyment it was for my kids. Apparently they had a difficult time getting the game started so they lost interest and did not attempt to play it. Once I realized why they refrained from playing the game, i helped them get it started. They seem to enjoy it now. Good entertainment. For reference... my kids are 10 and 11

Game is really good, fun to play, but once you get into the free play portion it has some bugs, you eventually lose the ability to swap characters, so you have to exit the level and re-enter. I fell through the world a few times. And lastly, intermittent joy-con issues when connected to the TV, works fine on other games. This last one may just be me. Hopefully they fix these issues in an update.

This is one of the best lego games yet. Every time they come out with a new one, it is better than the last. Exploration and discovery factors well into this game. While it is not true "open world" like Lego City, the settings are expansive and non-linear. Different paths are made available at all points, and, once and area is complete, it begins to open up more places to go.

This is a great game for the rating they say. we bought it for our son who is 5 and he really enjoys the game as he loved the the movie and all the Lego movies. It is for kids that are a little older as the rating says as they can problem solve a little better. It is great to hear him laugh as he runs around and plays the game as it has many references to the movie.

This game is really fun, and has the fun LEGO charm. The story is another good vs. evil style game, but they are all funny LEGO characters from the LEGO theme and movie. The gameplay is very good, it has a bunch of new attacks, way more than past LEGO games. I also enjoyed the portability, graphics, and animation. This game is very fun, so I recommend it.

My son loves this game. It was hard to find during the Christmas season, but B.B. had it and cheaper than its competitors. Used the store pick up which was fast and easy. Other stores say they have a product, only to get notified they really don’t after they’ve already taken the money from your account. I’ve never had this problem at B.B.

Lego, Lego, Ninjago is fun When I slice the bad guy with my ninja sword, he's gonnna run. Good for kids, and adults as well. I got so excited when I gained special abilities, that I jumped up and fell. But Ninja's don't cry So neither did I Me and my boy played so long, that Mama had to send us to bed at 2:40 AM That's no lie!

While I have enjoyed lego games in the past, how many different games can they make with the same formula. Sales must be good if they continue to churn these out. I say pass unless you have been living under a rock and have not tried one of the 50 different versions. Even so one would be better off playing Lego city undercover

LEGO has another winner with this game. The ability to smash everything in sight and get rewarded is very stress relieving. The open world concept allows me to explore and discover bonus material. It follows a story that is humorous and engaging.

If you play video games and haven't played a Lego game yet, I'm not sure where you have been. This one is a great installment into Lego games. We got this for my 6 year old for the Switch and he loves it. It can be played 2 player coop so its a great game to play with a young child.

The LEGO Ninjago Movie Video Game isn’t perfect, but very entertaining. Its strength lies in the gameplay and the humorous parts. Although the audio lets down sometimes, every LEGO fan likes this. You're never too old to play with LEGO.

I love the Lego games for my 5yr old. Some of the puzzles are a bit tough for him and we have to help but I love that they are clean games that I don't have to worry about what's said/done in them.
