Great game and condition but the steelbook that came with it had scratches

Decided to purchase the deluxe edition when I saw the really neat steelbook offered with it. Was very disappointed when I showed up to the store to see the steelbook had no plastic covering and was covered in scratches. If Best Buy is going to continue offering steelbook releases they need to do better to ensure they are kept in decent condition. I have received several others where steelbooks were shipped in only a bag and arrive destroyed. I rarely post negative reviews for anything but this has been frustrating for me and I’m sure other steelbook collectors feel the same.

Case was scratched and dented upon opening it. It was separate from the other package and kind of loose in the shopping box so I know it was handled haphazardly

Game itself is okay. A lot of cut out content in this game though.

This game is visually stunning and it’s almost perfect. However, with the addition of classes, iconic characters lose their iconic abilities. Palpatine can no longer shoot lightning, boba fett doesn’t have his rocket, flamethrower, or binding attack from the boss fight, Darth Vader can’t exactly force choke (although force crush can be a substitute) This was very disappointing to find out, partly because it seems like it wouldn’t be that hard to add. I also wish there were more settings to make the game difficult like turning off auto deflect for lightsaber users or increasing enemy fire rate. I know the game is finished but if they added some of these things, man the game would easily be 10/10.

I preordered gbis game with the initial PS5 release. I was fine with the delays. I didnt get the deluxe edition beacause I was waiting for a new card to arrive after aome fraud. Bummer, but thats not Lego or Best Buy’s fault. The game itself is great

I see a lot of you annoyed at people be “salty” over their pre order. Let me break it down for tou. I went to 4 Best Buys. And each said the same thing, they got anywhere from 5-8 copies, and were LITERALLY canceling pre orders for people who ordered a year ago caise they did not get enough. So instead of being mean and rubbing in people faces, realize that a lot of us who DID pre order and chose IN STORE lost out. To have a pre order sit for nearly 8 months to be told it was canceled cause they only got 7 and then randomly chose who got one of those 7, we have a right to be upset.

Even though I haven’t played it yet today my order is supposed to arrive today, but I can already tell this game is going to be incredible. Basically you get to be in Star Wars.
