Perfect gift for a boy. Not too difficult to assemble and provides lots of entertainment. Note, this requires a smart device to connect to the Mario character.

A must get for the holidays, kids keep asking for it, though I have to wait for Christmas, that much better when they find out the day they open their presents.

My grandson has been playing with nothing else since receiving this gift we sent him. My daughter said it’s a fantastic toy. I’ll be sending more Mario lego sets.

My 6 year old loved it and well as me, but the one who loved it the most was my toddler, he loved playing with it and dressing him up without even using the app to make a "track" you can play with the mario all alone and I like that. The only big con was battery life, because my toddler used it often alone without the legos he would run his battery out quick. He does have a sleep mode though when it realizes no one is playing with it, he starts to say he is getting sleepy and then turns off all on his own

Such a cute set! Easy to build but Mario eats at lot of batteries. Still a great gift and fun to put together and play with. My son enjoys it!!

Legos new interactive mario set are over priced! I believe they are best suited for older children who can put together and take apart the classic legos. Not impressed! Unless you have an area you can assemble and leave out there is alot of work in setting up and tearing down.

Just bought it for the Lego Mario. Other than that, it’s your typical Lego set.

My son loves this for his birthday. He plays with the Mario all over the house and has rebuilt new levels. What a fun toy!

This is a great idea and a lot of fun even though a little pricy for what you get. This is starter kit which you need for the interactive game part of this setup. The expansion sets are fun as standalone builds or as add-ons. Well buy more as they come out. Need a Luigi to come out.

Lego is always only OK value for the money. This set is pretty good though. The app is pretty bad and isn't compatible with my son's phone even though his phone is a very common phone. He has a lot of fun with the set though.

This is the coolest thing I've ever bought for my kids. It's so fun. I play with it myself with the kids of course lol

I recently bought Lego NES set. I found on YouTube that you can use the Mario figure from this starter course set to play the theme on NES set.

Good fun for a mario fan. Each time you turn Mario off you need to re-sync it to a tablet. Also instructions are not in the box but online so you need internet to put it together. Kids can also get annoying with mario as he is loud and there is no volume control.

As soon as it came in, he was very into this set! Loved going through the app to put it together and loves getting more sets to put with it.
