Lego Mario Fun!

I can't recommend this kit enough. My 8 year old Son and I had so much fun building this kit together and then combining is other Mario kits into this one to create the ultimate Mario parkour. Don't forget to grab the setup instructions from your mobile device application store.
My favorite things about this kit are the ability to not only rotate the pieces on each step in a 3-dimensional view, so you can see the build in a different, more understandable angle. This was useful when my Son would get stuck on a step, in figuring out the next thing that he needed to do, or when Dad only had to correct his build because he did a step incorrectly. This saves loads of time all around, Kudos Lego!
The other thing that blows me away about the Mario kits is the audio integration via the mobile app. You feel like you're playing the original 1986 Nintendo game as the mobile app plays the music while you're doing parkours with Mario. When I would have this kit selected in the app, or select any other Mario kit, you get unique audio sounds and beautiful art and animations. I absolutely love the way the kit looks artistically and how the castle is functional. (I don't want to spoil it for you)
Mobile app interface is easy to use and looks great! 10/10 Lego & Nintendo. Trust me, don't knock this toy until you try it, I thought it would be silly at first, but it's pretty cool!

First off, we all know LEGOs are pricey. But when you throw Nintendo branding on top of that it makes it extra pricey. But my kid loves them and they work well with the existing LEGO Mario sets. You just have to get over the large price!

My son loves this set and plays with it quite a bit. I’m tempted to give it 5 stars, but the price of it for what you get takes a star off all these Mario lego sets for me. They are great fun and this one is probably the neatest, but it’s pricey. Best Buy delivered it fast and easy as usual.

This was a big set to put together and a lot of fun for the kids. Bowser was a big hit and made for a good end to the Mario runs.

Large Lego set and really adds to the other Mario expansions. Definitely a fun set to include in other courses.

So, the set is a great addition to the Super Mario Adventures LEGO set, though it's a bit on the costly side. However, I had Best Buy ship this to me, and whoever shipped it just slapped a label on the outside of the box. Suffice it to say, it arrived totally wrecked (it was to be a Christmas present, so this was unacceptable). Fortunately, I was able to replace it at the local store, but the shipping department really needed to be more careful. Just a warning...

All the expansion packs for the Super Mario Lego sets are very cleverly designed and offers some versatility for how they should be build and set-up (as with any Lego set). However, please note that this is an expansion set and the Super Mario Lego Starter Kit is KEY to really enjoying it. I would highly recommend it. I believe all of the instructions are digital now so you will have to download an app .

It was overpriced and just doesn’t do enough to keep kids engaged long term. I did enjoy helping my kids assemble it, though!

My son is a Mario lego fanatic. These Legos don’t come with an instruction book. Instead they connect to an app on your tablet or phone and can help your little ones not make mistakes by getting a 360 view of each piece. There are also secret games to play with the tablet. Highly recommend!

My child loves this set. As a kid from the 80s, I also love this set! The entire line is pretty cool, but this one goes a bit above. Boo giving chase, the interaction with Dry Bones and the epic battle with Bowser are all well engineered. A great way to complete the LEGO Super Mario set... for now!

This really is an incredible set. It's really large, and will take hours for a small child to build. Being able to let them use the digital lego mario tool to build is awesome and this has a lot of moving pieces, "bad guys" and towers. My 5 year old thinks it's the coolest thing ever

Bought this for my 4 year old .. OK I lied .. I bought it for the both of us. Very fun to build and I really like the Bowser, it has great details and is not just one big piece. I like what Lego and Mario have been able to do together with all of these sets.

Gave this LEGO set to my grandson for Christmas. He is still trying to set it up. He and his dad are having a lot of fun with it. Some frustration with so many pieces, but I am sure they will be happy when they finish.

More fun than I originally thought. The Bowser set is the largest but overall each of the four Mario sets we’ve purchased have been easy to build for my kid. The look of Bowser and his baddies all look really great and do exude that Nintendo feel. It does require the base set, so don’t forget to factor that in to your purchase. With that said, for the price of this Bowser set, we deserve a free Mario in the box.

Legos and Mario. What is not to love? This set features Bowser in his castle, and is sort of meant to be a Final Boss of the Mario Lego set. It is over 1000 pieces so it will take a few hours to put together but the set is a lot of fun.
