This is a fun build, a little bit on the shorter side (not necessarily a bad thing!), and while I would like it to be a little bit more sturdy of a model, the shaping and overall look is really good (especially considering that this is made up of Lego blocks). One criticism is that the large white dots/printing on the 4 large red pieces that make up the top and bottom of the head are not as opaque as I’d like to see, especially on a Lego brand item, but it isn’t a deal breaker… There is a simple play feature too, coins can drop out, but make no mistake, this is really a display set. If you like what you see in the pics (design, colors, and subject matter), my bet is that you’ll be happy with this display model.

Purchased for my teenage son as a birthday present. He loves legos like most kids and enjoyed putting them together.

Lego never ceases to amaze with their sets and options. We added this one as a piece for our game room. Lights not included but go by brickbling and spice it up.

The steps and packaging were easy to follow as its all sorted out in to multiple bags and it lets you know when to open the next bag for the next step. Comes out as seen on the box and able to put it in other limited poses.

The coolest most nostalgic desk plant that doesn’t need water or light! Me and my girlfriend had a great time building this set and it compliments our place big time.

Looks fantastic on show in my sons room. Not too challenging for my 12 year old son. Took him less than a week doing a little bit every day. It is a good buy!

Delivered from best buy without crushing the box, major plus. Set was as expected. The mario brothers nastalga is awesome with this set. Make a great desk top piece. Design is great, and some of the building techniques are inventive. Instructions work well for both kids and adults. Perfect gift for the holidays as well.

My grandson (age 11) is a big Super Mario fan and also loves Legos of all sorts. This Super Mario Piranha Plant building set gave him a lot of fun building and is now displayed on a bookcase in his bedroom. Excellent set, highly recommend not just for adults but also for kids (>8).

Have a family member who loves Lego and Nintendo so this I think will be a great gift for her. Honestly thinking of buying one for me too and I’m not a huge Lego or Nintendo fan but it’s pretty nostalgic for someone who enjoyed the NES and SNES.

The washing machine I purchased works exceptionally well and the young woman helping me was very Knowledgeable about the subject
