Fun to balance him in the middle to try to avoid piranha plants. Plus piranha plants are iconic baddies and there are two!

Ok, but not great

It is one you can skip if you are only picking up some sets, but if you are a collector you must have it. The play features in this set are not nearly as fun as the other ones, even the smaller sets are more fun than this. This one is not as easy for a 6 year old to get into, and once you see all there is to see is not one you want to come back to. Having said that, this does look amazing when combined with at least 1 big set and 2 smaller ones and the Mario starter kit. It is fun to build and fun to attach to any course, but again, not the best in terms of fun.

He likes the slide and says there is nothing that he doesn't like about it (other than it being smaller than some of the others).

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.unfortunately you have to use their app in order to build it which is pretty slow going. or you can look at the box guess and hope you got it right. we much prefer where they give you an instruction booklet or access to an instruction pdf. so I'd recommend it but not very enthusiastically

This is one of the latest purchases from Best Buy. He was happy to receive it and put it together. All pieces there and there was no damage during shipping

Funt to play with!

All of the Lego Mario sets are great. Warning, a smart tablet and app is required since paper building instructions are not included with the set.

Sounds and music are fun on this one, but overall not the best set there is. Having a Koopa Troopa in this set does add to its value.
