Bought this as an anniversary gift for my wife and had it shipped directly to the store for pickup. It was suppposed to be brand new. When i arrived to pick it up, the cashier and myself noticed the box was all beat up. The box had been previously opened and taped shut again. The cashier was nice and let me open to inspect the contents. It appeared that the lego packets were untouched but its a large set and i didn’t know how many were supposed to be in the box. The envelope for the manual and stickers was also obviously opened. I ended up returning the order and getting a different gift. The local Best Buy store handled this well but somewhere in the chain something obviously went wrong as this was clearly an opened item not new.

Cool set, bad shipping

Arrived super damaged, shipping labels stuck all over it, and the box was physically open when it was delivered. No idea if i’m missing anything. 100% Best Buy messed this up. You don’t ship Lego using its own packaging as a shipping box, destroys valuable packaging, not meant for that.
