Of course as a fan of Lego Games, I give this rating for the nostalgic quality that I get from playing in relation to my childhood. However as the game takes liberty with the books as well as the movies, if you are not a fan of Lego Games but instead a fan of the books or movies, this might not get as high a rating for you.

This is a great game for all ages. With several different difficulty options, kids of all ages (and the kids at heart) will find ths game challenging and fun.

This game was very fun to play. I’m not a gamer and do not have much experience in playing video games but once I got the hang of it, it became pretty easy. I was able to fully complete the game as well as all of the goals on the PS4.

I love the Hobbit and I love lego games so naturally this game was a hit for me. The only problem is that it is not complete and the developer has stated that they will not release the final chapter as dlc.

My little cousin, who is about 8 years old, asked for this. I thought it might be too complicated, being a PS4 game, but I guess kids these days are pretty tech-savvy. He loves it!

Well as the old saying goes, if it aint broken don't fix it. This game is another great addition to the lego series. If you are lego game fan or a Hobbit fan this is a must have!

As always, LOVE playing a Lego video game. This one has all the fun and action and comedic plays as we've all come to expect. The one thing I did not notice until I played through the story is that it follows the Peter Jackson Hobbit movie very closely. Even to the point that the story ends in the middle of the story! I have not seen a Part 2 yet so there is hope for even more fun ahead. At least, I hope there is!
