Entertaining, mischevious, age-appropriate game

I was very dissapointed with this game because its a very stripped down version of the console one. I have Sly Cooper thieves in time wich is exactly the same game as the console one, but LLOTR Vita looks awful, the cutscenes look very grainy, and edited like a insurance tv comercial, very rushed. Also the graphics are lame, and the effects have very low quality. The levels were also shortened. Some animations like fire wich look very good on the console look terrible on the vita. The textures look like a PS2 game. And the audio has very low quality. The dialogs wich are taken straight from the movie sound far away from a cheap tv, like coming from the last room of your house. This game feels like a very low quality smartphone game. Avoid it at all costs. For ten dls more get the full version of the game in the PS3 .

A shell of the PS3 version, but a fun distraction

Pros and cons list basically sum this one up. It's a fun game that Lego video game fans will enjoy, but don't expect a direct port of the console. While there are plenty of similarities, there are a lot of differences, plenty of exclusions and only a few new elements at work that aren't present in the console version. Additionally, the audio is truly awful, very tinny and completely unremarkable. For those looking to purchase for an easy Platinum trophy, go for it. None of the missions are the least bit frustrating and the game only really requires two playthroughs, one in story and one in free play with a little bit of roaming around gathering enough coins to buy all red bricks, hints, and characters. It's still a fun game if not repetitive. Basically, the bottom line is that fans of the Lego games will want it, as will "trophy hunters." I happen to be both, so it was a no-brainer.
