This item did not work at all. I would recommend buying the actual charger for your camera instead of wasting your time.

After misplacing our charger for my T2i Cannon we purchased this charger. I dont buy things generally without any user reviews but I did in this case. This charger is so versital that its not user friendly. There are 4 pins on the battery and the charger contact slide and have to be set for the battery. Also the voltage varies per battery, the LP-E8 that I have is a 7.2v, the charger was charging it at 6v. I wouldn't recomend this charger. I'm taking mine back.

The adjustable contacts make it easy to change positions for different types of batteries. I use the charger at home and in my vehicle with the provided cord and the charger preformes very well both places. I mainly use it for extra cell phone batteries but occasionally charge my sony camcorder and cannon camera batteries as well. I've owned this charger for about a year and use it everyday.

I had this working on my camera battery in less than 5 minutes. Just move the two contacts so that they align with your battery plus and minus terminals. So simple.
