Too slow for senior internet user

It was easy to set up and he was quickly on his way. After a few days we checked back to see how it was working and he complained that it was slower than his old computer. We tried to optimize for internet use, but he continued to say it was slow. After about two weeks of trying we returned it for something faster, and he's much happier now. If this doesn't work for an senior (in his 80s), I can't imagine it being of much use (at least for internet usage) for anyone else.

I FOUND IT QUITE DURABLE WITH GOOD BATTERY LIFE. THE ONLY THING THAT IS DISAPPOINTING IS THE SOUND. I FOUND THE MAX VOLUME TO BE QUITE LOW. I JUST BOUGHT A BLUETOOTH SPEAKER AS A NICE SOLUTION.
