Great product for web surfing, email and Facebook.

This Lenovo has its cons with the limited memory and that does slow things down a bit. However it's fine for very simple tasks and light internet browsing and streaming. Beyond that you will need to upgrade.

It's an ok laptop for the price if you're using it for simple operations such as typing papers, doing general website searches, using other MS office Suite products. Not great for using programs such as Adobe Suite, can be slow to process.

I just purchased this laptop for my mom. It runs great. The only draw back to computer is that there is much storage space. My mom is not a power user so for the monies and her usage it fits.

I bought two of these laptops. One for myself and one for my 12 year old. We love it. Works great comes with a one year free Microsoft.. great price. No problem at all..

.....I bought this laptop for my daughter 28th birthday and she loves it. She was still trying to sync her iPhone on her 2007 Compaq laptop but it wasn’t working so I surprised her with Lenovo and she can’t put it down.

This was just what I was looking for - a light weight laptop I can take with me when traveling to access the internet etc. It is quick and easy to use. I have Office 365 access through work so it was easy to add this device to that to be able to use Word and Excel, and the HP printer installed easily just by plugging it in. You will need an external disc drive if you use CDs or DVDs - might want an external speaker as well if you like it a little louder. Just what I was looking for - and under $250 with tax!

The Lenovo Ideapad 100 is an ideal choice for those that need a Windows PC, but aren’t looking to spend a fortune. This 14-inch budget laptop offers a slim and portable design with enough power from its Intel Celeron CPU to complete simple computing tasks with efficiency and ease. Let’s not forget the high-quality keyboard makes using this device far more comfortable than most budget laptops. However, the Ideapad 100’s impressive value is marred by the laptop’s weak battery life and subpar speakers.

My wife wanted a laptop a little lighter and more portable than what she already has. This is perfect! She only really uses it for daily email use and paying the bills, but she is totally happy with this laptop.

This computer is very sleek and lightweight, however, it is extremely slow. I would only recommend it for basic use such as email.

For casual web browsing and emails, this device will suffice. Not capable of downloading many legacy desktop apps. Very portable, Lenovo is pretty good quality. Just make sure you don't need anything especially powerful.

This excels in battery life, portability, keyboard quality, and screen quality (for a conventional TN-based screen). It falls short in storage capacity, storage speed (it's slow eMMC not much faster M.2 or SSD), and RAM. The net result is that this has ok speeds when scrolling web pages, tad slow opening linked tabs in the background, noticeably slow maneuvering complex websites like USA Today and NY Times. After 20 open tabs reloading an older tab takes a second longer as it retrieves it from the hard drive. 2gb RAM would be enough with a speedier hard drive (it would use the hard drive to store inactive windows). With just 2gb RAM and 32gb of (slow) storage it has to work harder. In a year or two the 2gb/32gb configurations will probably move into the history books and get replaced by 4gb/64gb configurations, and eMMC storage will probably get much faster implementations. So is this worth getting or not? Depends on your usage. If you treat it like a Chromebook - don't store files locally, don't try to run Photoshop locally (Word is fine, and is included for one year for free!), you should be ok. The battery life, compact thin & long cord wall-wart power charger, and thin and light construction make this fine for school work/cafe browsing. A BIG PLUS IS THE 14" SCREEN, compared to 11.6" screens usually found in this price niche. It's even up-sized compared to 13.3" laptops. Most "Settings" are optional, but monitor your storage usage under the "System" category and clean it up from time to time. CCleaner is also helpful.

This laptop is great for students, and is easy to navigate once you get a hang of the windows 10 system if you are not used to it, it is also pretty lightweight for travel

Nice lightweight computer. Can be slow at times. But great if you are just wanting to surf the internet. A bonus is that mine came with Microsoft 360 free for the 1st year.

The set up was fairly easy. Functions well for my general purposes. It is easy to use. Clear screen. I was very surprised by the value considering the very reasonable price

This laptop is so lightweight compared to my 7 yr old 17 inch old laptop.. it was an easy setup and battery lasts longer than most! If I had the money I would of bought 2

Computer is simple to use very good for basic use . Ha ave no problem with it highly recommend for first computer does what you need to do that you best buy and the the price you can't go wrong

I really like this model. It is sleek and easy to use. I really like the Cortana feature. I will have to had an external hard drive as it has very limited memory.

It was great. I purchased it for my mother who definitely needed a computer for school. It was easy for her to work it. She was able to use its functionalities with little to no difficulties.

I needed something small for taking notes in class. This worked perfectly. I have a gaming P.C. at home and use it for every day things but this is perfect for class/backpacks/word documents
