IT can get bogged down if you try to do too much. Windows not being able to update is annoying, but if you have an external hard drive, you can get around that. Great for the price!

It is quite sleek and compact and worth the price. I havent had any problems as yet with it but if you require a laptop for huge projects, I would not recommend it as it has only 2gb storage space.

I was able to get this for a great price and it’s perfect. The parental controls allow us to restrict words and websites, and it also allows for restrictions on usage. This is a perfect starter laptop to teach responsibility and is great for the websites and games our child is wanting.

Great Laptop for my Grandmother!!!

I took her to buy her newer, more updated computer but she wanted to make sure it was easy to use. This surely was an update and easy to use but it also has many more features for when she is ready. But you can’t store a lot of pictures, or run big programs. The 2 gig memory is a tad bit slow, but if you aren’t in a big hurry & don’t overload it, it’s OK.....bottom line: this computer maybe good for a child...as for an adult...you will need more space on the hard drive, and more memory to run the big programs.

Posted .Thank you for choosing the Lenovo IdeaPad 120s-14 laptop. This system should not restart itself. It should also boot up in less than 30 seconds. Be sure any software you installed is compatible with Windows 10. There is no need to install Microsoft Office software. The software is already part of the operating system, you just need to activate the software with a purchased product key. If you have installed a copy of Microsoft Office, this is conflicting with the existing copy on the system and this will slow your system down. If you have installed a 3rd party anti-virus program, be sure that Windows Defender is turned off and that the trial version of McAfee Anti-Virus software is uninstalled. There can only be one anti-virus program on the system. You may need to restore your system to original factory default settings if any of the programing errors have occurred. You can do that by typing "restore" in the Cortana search window. Just click on the magnifying glass icon at the bottom left of your Windows 10 Desktop. Click on "Reset This PC" Then click on "Get Started" and follow the on screen directions to restore to factory defaults.

It's nice and everything but the only thing that I have an issue with is the GB since it's only 2. For those who don't understand the issue, it means that it's only fast when only ONE window is open. Anymore than that, it will start to slow down and not become fast enough and that goes with having multiple windows open as well. I think this is a great laptop for kids who are beginning to learn about computers or the elderly who just needs a little something something for research or social media. Aside from all that, I'm happy with it.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Found myself suddenly needing an actual laptop computer because my son started kindergarten and the iPads we have supposedly wouldn’t work with the homework programs (doubt it but whatever). Anyway, i just didn’t want to drop a whole lot of money into a computer that was going to be used for two hours a week at most. This little Lenovo was perfect. Got it for less than 200 bucks on sale and it is all that was needed. My son is actually very proud of having his very own laptop and had become quite proficient using it.

Since purchasing know not the best choice. It is a little slow and definatley doesnt have the memory for many downloads or updates. I would recommend more memory if purchasing any laptop.
